I don't think it's weird. It's better to take your time than to rush into a relationship. Many people who end up in a relationship at a young age (or any age, really) aren't truly as happy as they seem. My friend has tried online dating. It took a bit for the site to really know what he wanted but he was in a long-term relationship for year and half as a result. As long as you talk online and meet in public areas it's safe. 2 reply

I feel where you're coming from. Never been in a relationship, never could get along with guys (10 years surrounded by females dosen't do much good in terms of interaction with guys), etc. Turned to online relationships (both penpals and dating) a long time ago, and there are quite the few pros and cons.
