I just usually do not care about the comments and go about my own business, because again, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. If a work im interested in is generally filled with bad responses, I try to still read and judge it myself. Comment section won't ever sway whether I read a story or not. Rarely would I consider dropping after reading a few comments cause I only lightly scan the first 4-5 comments to get a feel of the story as perceived by others, then I read and when done I then might actually dive in and read full comments a bit. Because I limit comment info before I...... reply
