Fantasy yaoi typical of the time period.... way too angsty but with a happy ending....
Interesting.... A story about a guy who can lie in a world of people who can't and gets caught by a nosy guy.... This is an interesting concept... his extra ability gives him an advantage but how will society treat him once they find out that they can't blindly trust him... We get a glimpse of that from the way his father treats him... Then there's the mandatory other love interest who is too perfect... This story not only introduces an interesting concept but also carries it through to the end.
Starts off as a standard omegaverse story but along the way the author decides to change direction and it became all woke and fighting for the rights of all. The ending is quite good. Definitely worth the read.
Beautifully done story of a prostitute and a contract killer who fall for each other despite all odds. Of course, nothing goes right and just when they catch a break, things go downhill all over again. The story is so packed with angst that you'd need a couple packs of tissue to get through it. Everything around them is so horrible and yet their love for each other is so pure and heartwarming. A must read and a masterpiece.
SPOILERS: What I loved about this is where the name Itou comes from.
This is both a prequel and a sequel to "Itou-san". It covers the gaps in the other story and gives the true happy ending. So it's better to read the other one before reading this. It explains a lot about how they met and what Kyosuke was like before meeting Itou. Adding this here since "Itou-san" won't be complete without reading this too.
After being a gloomy nerd in high school, Hiromu changed himself and became a stylish hairdresser. Then, he once again met Natsuo, who endlessly troubled him during his high school days. So, when Natsuo confesses that he fell in love with the now stylish Hiromu at first sight, Hiromu couldn't help but plot revenge..
This story is for mature adults who have already seen and can cope with the negative and ugly aspects of the world around us. The focus is on victims of psychological (and physical) crimes perpetrated by mentally unstable individuals. This is an excellent portrayal of how the victims struggle to come to terms with what has been done to them, wondering whether it was somehow their fault. Not a pleasant read but definitely thought provoking. Also, has a happy ending of healing and new beginnings
A yakuza drama about 2 people desperately in love with each other despite all odds. It's well plotted out and well executed. Warnings for violence and S&M. Not realistic, not a healthy relationship. If you don't mind those, then go right ahead and enjoy. Definitely recommend.
