ngl me too but it feels like this manhwa is one of those “feel good dont question it” type of manhwas.
I'm more confused than anything, probably cuz of the bad translation
also is that not his body? is it a body that is just borrowed and just coincidentally looked like Julius?
it doesn't technically eliminate what they went through but I feel like takes something away from the story? the last arc of this story is the worst arc imo but that could be because of the translation? it's very weak and out of place I feel.
from what I understand:
a kid who looks like Julius was offered by the village as a sacrifice/offering?? and Julius soul was place inside that body? how that is possible doesn't seem to be explained
Julius died and Sigmund made three deals with Karma, a plan to bring Julius back but only if Julius chooses to take on the darkness alone for them and die by himself. Sigmund knew he was going to do that because he knows what Julius is like. The 2nd deal was to allow Detrian into the land of the dead to allow him to go get Julius's soul, that's how he gets revived. Can't remember the third one, but I think it might just have to do with the changing of his destiny to this new happy one
to me, it feels like the whole point of this story is that everyone (except the bad guys) r supposed to have a happy ending, bc that's what the god-like(?) beings want too. they turned back time so EVERYONE could survive, yk?
like why is Julius a thing? don't get me wrong cause I'm happy he gets a happy ending but like why?? it feels lowkey like a slap to beginning of the story in a way? I'm mildly confused to ab why he is allowed to live and maybe that's why I'm thrown off? idk I love happy endings but I'm not a big fan of convenient happy endings if that makes sense?? he's one of my fave characters but this feels a bit contrived?
