Yeah, there’s no redemption at all and the worst part is that it turns out he used to be a kind husband. He became like this because he believed she had someone else in her original world. And even though she knew that, she never once tried to clear up the misunderstanding.
Then she's an idiot, period. Luckily I already shifted my focus to other characters
And what happens to the kid ?
The child, just like his father, believes his mother abandoned him, and she doesn’t even clear things up with him. In the end, both he and the father basically play house with her while she’s imprisoned and unable to walk.
But she can still *talk*, right? No excuse why she doesn't use her still functional tongue to at least try to explain anything to her child?
Yes, she can talk. The only person who can answer your question is the author of the novel, because the story makes absolutely no sense to me.
Yep, I agree. Seems like she's supposed to be one of those people addicted to punishment: first with her parents, then this... which means "zero character growth" (the story ends without her overcoming her initial "fatal flaw": self-deprecation).
Yeah in the very end she accepts that life with resignation, but she doesn’t even seem that upset about it. But she can’t walk, and she doesn’t have a wheelchair, he’s the only one who can carry her around in his arms. It’s insane

Wtf!!? I really don’t get it why? In the first place how she left her child without batting an eye was already weird but now she doesn’t even try?!? This is fckin stupid. I mean yes her mother was there but is it enough to lose your child and husband for it and her life was worse than average. Like it wasn’t enough she made that choice now she doesn’t even try to free husband and child from that abandoned mindset.
And after losing her memory, she was ready to have another child to abandon! She’s truly an idiot.
I didn’t even realise that, you are right. Swe was going on and on about how miserable and tiring her life was or how even just a little bit of an affection from her parents was enough for her to abandon her new family but she can’t give her child the truth he needs most.
Who knows, maybe this story will take a different direction from the novel, at this point I’m hoping so
