I'm happy I decided to finish it later on. Just seeing the mc slowly change looking like a lifeless doll into an animated human being makes me :') He deserves the world, happiness and all.

Huh, when did I say he isn't? He may be considered an adult in age but his mind remains that of child due to abuse. To me, he is still a kid unless he gets enough socialization and exposure to make him develop a mental capacity and behaviour of a person his age.

Well, my point was, Shindou isn't exactly a good man. He is the lesser evil. He performed exams to MC in the main story knowing MC is a literally a child, or was (and technically, still is), as a product, specifically a sex cyborg. True he didn't have sex with him, but he did fingered him and other assessment.

Even if Mc wasn't a fully human anymore, what kind of morality do one has just accepting a sex doll in a form of a child? Well he did save MC from that kind of life, but he is still kissing him in that way. It's just so wrong IMO.

Isn't that pretty much a given that he isn't supposed to be likeable outright? I don't think the author added those scenes of him being complacent to the abuse at the start for nothing.

Also, the author is obviously a shotacon, I don't think they are aiming for the guy to have a perfect sense of morality and not have skinship with the mc.

I dont know what to say to you man. Everyone has their own opinions and you cant really do anything whether or not they like the dude. Due to the themes of the story, it will always be divisive.

I agree shotacon is disgusting most of the time. If it weren't my attachment for Toshio's story and wanting to see him live a fulfilling life after all he's been through, I wouldn't be sticking around.


All I'm saying is that let others dissect the story without too much judgement. I think people here are sane enough to separate fiction from reality.

'Most of the time?' I can't think of any time it is not disgusting, tho. I get rooting for the victims in the story. But the shotacon element will never be not disgusting to me. And the perpetrators in these stories will never be likeable to me and it will never be romantic

I know what fiction vs reality is. I just draw the line at lolicons and shotacons, I just can't tolerate stories glorifying and romanticising CP. Saying many people think Shindou is a good person and this story is romantic, is just stating a fact and not judgment. You can see that from others' comments.
