based on my observations, i’m going out on a limb here to say that taku stans are romantics and joowon stans are realists. of course there are exceptions, but I’ve noticed certain trends.

romantic. if you’re a taku stan i’m going to assume a few things. You like the idea of running away from society with someone you just met. You often mistake infatuation with love, and your favorite part of a relationship is the beginning. You love love, but more so the idea of it and what it represents—perhaps not what it really is. Taku and Haesoo’s relationship and how “comforting” (as i’ve seen many use at face value) it appears on the outside is a fantastic representation of what love represents.

realist. if you’re a joowon stan (this is combined with my own experience) it’s because you’re attracted to the sheer complexity of their relationship. you’re also sort of a masochist, because you love how their story demonstrates how easily a relationship can shatter due to lack of communication, societal pressures, careers and fear. but, above all else, what you’re really a sucker for is the careful rebuilding of a relationship after these flaws are addressed. maybe, although this IS entirely dependent on the route Youngha takes, Joowon and Haesoo’s relationship is meant to portray what love is beneath the surface

In the relationship between Jiha and Ye-un Jiha was not the asshole Ye-un was. Ye-un having a S&M relationship with Chulsoo while dating Jiha is considered cheating that is not a misunderstanding so Ye-un betrayed Jiha not the other way around. At the High School reunion if she just apologized and broke up with him it would have ended there but instead she lied and tried to make excuses.

People should be more mad at Chulsoo because he was the asshole that got between Jiha and Ye-un's relationship. He is the one that was acting like a stalker, disrespecting Ye-un boundaries texting her calling her master and using a spare key to come into her house for S&M play. Chulsoo and Ye-un are at more fault than Jiha for the situation at the High School reunion which is why Chulsoo does not deserve Ye-un's trust and why he deserves the way she treats him and why Ye-un deserves the way Jiha treats her.

Ye-un brought sex toys to a High School reunion(Who does that anyway?)Jiha is at fault for knocking down her bag but she should not have brought sex toys to a High School reunion and cheated on Jiha in the first place so that is also more on her.

In Chapter 45 Ye-un and Dorim raped Jiha that is a crime so sure while there are characters that get to judge Homin for comitting a crime and disrupting people's life Ye-un is not one of them. I think when Jiha called Homin and she suspected Jiha was working with him when she realized he wasn't she finally understood how much of a hypocrite and garbage person she is and that all this time Jiha was right which is why she started crying. Chulsoo deserves the way Ye-un treats him and Ye-un deserves the way Jiha treats her. So Jiha is the one that really deserves better not Chulsoo and definitely not Ye-un.

So Ye-un is the asshole not Jiha also in chapter 33 when Jiha told Ye-un

"You still haven't changed one bit. Because no matter who is actually responsible for the situation you always act like you're the victim"

Ye-un is not a victim she is a active participant in situations that she helps cause herself, also for the people that say Jiha talked bad about her, Jiha was telling the truth so he wasn't talking bad about her he was describing her.

Okay so wait was Osiris raping Seth in the past? And was that why Seth had enough and chopped Osiris up and threw him into the Nile, because that was the only why he was going to free himself from him? Cause that’s what it looked like in the raws. Like the images Showed that Osiris raping Seth repeatedly and then Seth trying to kill Osiris but not being able to so he tried to kill himself instead. Osiris panicked when he saw him trying to commit suicided and that’s what led to Seth tricking Osiris and finally being able to chop him up.

Also is Anubis like the black sheep of the group? Like he just feels like a very misfortunate character.

Makes me wish I understood Korean lol so many questions!

I guess today's the day I shed rivers of water as I sit drowning in my own tears and sorrow. I cannot thank you enough Sorachi-sensei. I open my mouth but words fail to come out when I try to describe the rollercoaster of emotions I felt in this wonderful journey of happiness, joy, sadness, tragedy and alas I feel like my silver heart has been broken, but my silver soul continues to live on every single day remembering the adventures shared with Gintama. After years of trolling, I cannot comprehend the fact that its finally over, Never thought I'd live to see the day. But as they wisely quoted in episode 209, " Nothing Lasts Forever, including Parents, Money, Youth, Your Room, Dress, Shirts, Me, You, and the Gintama Anime" and after 8 long years, it finally hits the mark sealing the deal!!!!

At the end of this beautiful journey, I'd especially like to call onto our favorite friends and cast of Gin-san, Hijikata-san, Kagura, Sogo, Shinpachi, Kondo-san, Otae-san, Kyubei-san, Takasugi, Zura, Sakamoto, Mutsu, Tsukuyo, Isaburo-san, Nobume san, Yamazaki and Shoyo-sensei (my sad baby Utsuro), thank you all for being more friends to me than any friends I know. A little reminder: A lot of people dont look into the raws and just enjoy the translations. We are now at chapter 35. I can't stand this disrespecful behaviour. We don't want to get spoiled.

Gosh, this is good. Since the first chapter came out I'm yearning for more. Thanks to the people who chose to translate this. The story is really funny, refreshing and on point.
