theyre called side stories for a reason, alot of BLs literally create side story chapters for side couples omg

I haven’t seen a BL where a side story focuses more on the yuri and it’s already a side story why have more side stories for a side story

why do BL side stories have to be BL too? readers dont necessarily have to pay attention to them if they dont want to. they're called side stories for a reason you dont have to read it, byul and siwoo already got together in the official stories and their story already ended. Byul was the MC for the OFFICIAL chapters 1-38 and he got his own lead roles for like half of the side stories but god forbid a yuri couple leads the other half which are like what 6 side stories compared while siwoo and byul gets the other 6?

It’s called live is an illusion superstar because Byul is the super star. Did the author give enough backstory about his failed career no? Did the author give enough romance towards him and Siwoo? No at this point the author needs to do a separate yuri manhwa. Which I think is her next move after this. And yes people (such as me) are expecting BL side stories in a BL story not yuri since that is a separate genre.

The author already gave closure to his story. ++ there are BL stories that include hetero, BL and GL side stories there's no rule stating that BL stories should specifically have BL side couples and side stories. The problem isn't just saying you don't care about the GL side couple because you could've skipped them, the problem is that you're disregarding the fact that Byul's characterr DID develop, his relationship with Siwoo DID grow and we can see that in side stories aswell,

so to say that he's become a side character with no development is lowkey just downplaying the authors story for him because even in the yuri side stories we can see that Byul isn't sidelined, he's literally the reason why the yuri couple is even developing.

TLDR; By trying to call the Yuri sideplot unnecessary, you're downplaying Byul's character aswell because he's very much STILL the superstar regardless of his role in the story whether MC or side MC :))

I agree with you!, the yuri story actually need to have their own manhwa, Waiting for their story to finish could take a long time while there are still many questions about Siwoo and Byul's past and also the continuation of their relationship. I love soyi and bin relationship, but the main couple's development isn't complete. （￣へ￣)

I think the aim of this specific story for byul is to understand his feelings his development and maybe the author will make another with siwoo is the main focus. Get it? I've also read the novel and he had never once hurt the mc intentionally. From the start until the end, he really did everything for the wellbeing of the mc. His only mistake was not realizing that what he's feeling is love. But even before that, he already shows the love and care for mc. The locking up is hard to explain unless reading the novel. So I think it's inaccurate to label him as one definite color. It only comes down to what type of situations occurred and how readers perceived them.

Okay here’s the correct one, ML loves the MC but again typical top that realizes everything at the end. He did lock up the MC but he was able to let him go cause he really loves him (and he can see how much the MC is suffering) He did his fair share of redemption arc, as well. The friend ended up with the ML’s henchman, though their story was not really given depth just in passing.

Overtime, Uke developed an inferiority complex towards Seme because people—family, friends, and classmates kept comparing them, and questioning why Uke is mediocre compared to Seme despite them being childhood best friends.

Eventually, Uke ignored Seme, and Seme confronted Uke at the rooftop and confessed his feelings, and that the only reason he’s doing his best is to make sure that he becomes powerful so that no one would dare bully or touch Uke since they will know that Seme likes Uke.
