Tbh I relate to white hair guy (I forgot his name ) if I’d known someone for only a year, they basically ditched me without saying a proper goodbye and then I didn’t see them for 5 years, I like to think I would have moved on

honestly i think it’s cause she was only with him, maybe if she was surrounded by more people it wouldn’t be that hard but other than callia, the other prince and the fairy she literally only knew one more person that was even remotely close to her age, and closest to her, with the way they hung out nearly every day for almost an year it would make sense a bit as to why she is so affected if ykwim

So… did people start reading this only because it was BL? Because that’s kinda sad. Like the art and characters are beautiful, the storyline is good, it’s horror. The characters are still queer it’s just not your BL where it’s certain that they will end up with one another. I personally don’t mind that what so ever.

??? I don't get what you mean by this. It sounds like you're saying that people who read BL can't enjoy things like this manga, but that's just not true? I primarily read BL and I love this manga--if I see it updated, it's the first thing I read. In any case, it's usually it's the other way around--people see the BL tag and then there's a spew of homophobia in the comments.

Wtf are you on about? I enjoy BL and I enjoy this manga too. I commented this because other people commented ‘not BL dropping’ and other similar things. I said did people start reading this ONLY because it was BL, because that disregards all the other great things this manga has going for it. I understand if you started reading it because you thought it was a BL, but not enjoying a story just because it isn’t BL is wild.

Yes I did. I found this in shouen ai genre and I thought that Japan finally got some bl that isn’t cliché and the plot is more developed (meaning it’s not 5 chapters long). It’s a shame that I was fooled and this is a bromance manga with implications that (old)Hikaru and yoshiki had feelings for eachother.
Honestly, I’m still looking for a manga that is like banana fish where the romance isn’t the main plot but it’s a side plot.
It’s a shame that you can only find that in manhuas and manwhas.
I’m still reading this though bc I do like the plot but it’s still a letdown.

Same. We've been BLbaited. D: (Not queerbaited though, which is def. a positive thing!)
I still love this story, I own the English physical copies, and I will continue to support this story. But still... :(
Also, I find it funny that, according to certain commenters, a good BL can't be plot-centered and it's main focus can only be romance and/or sex and we should just move on, we are just fetishizers, bla bla bla. I just really wanted to read a trailblazing Japanese BL story (yaoi or shounen-ai), not a cliché school/office manga. Just my two cents.
My guy you kinda lead her on tho, the engagement didn’t come out of nowhere?
