For me it leaves a bad taste in the mouth but if its used to push forward the story then i dont mind as much (i just question how will it be used to the story that they really really need to include it). But there really are story out there rn, and its becoming a trend (a kink?) that they use violence excessively and unprovoked when it doesnt even makes sense to the plot. Its giving cheap writing and shallow imagination. Also yea i think the tone of the story and the characters is used to disguise the violence as palatable i think. Its hard to be offended when the victims themselves arent offended. But no, liking sa violence rape etc doesnt make u have superior taste. It only makes u shallow and actually the opposite. Cos how come ur taste is soo one sided. For me if thats their only criteria of good stories and then best avoid them. They dont read for the beauty of literature and fiction (smut can have beautiful literature too) but for the trends.

sorry this isnt related to anything here but pls leave some suggestions on what to do. i am already doing my masters in one course here in a uni in my country. but I want to do my masters in a uni in Netherlands. it's my dream uni you could say. i missed my chance for sept 2025 intake due to passport issue. there is feb intake also but not on the courses i would like to pursue masters. also i will almost be done with my thesis and sems in my current course. so think its better not to apply for feb intake. that's i have to wait again for next year to apply. but idk if it will be worth it, to go for a master's degree again. instead should i apply for PhD. also my parents are not very supportive. they want me to get a job here. im very confused and also angry at myself. if only i didn't procrastinate.

I know it feels like you lost time by procrastinating, but honestly, life happens. Since you’re already finishing your master's now (almost done with your thesis and semesters), it might make more sense to consider PhD applications rather than doing another full master’s degree. Afaik, universities in the Netherlands really value research experience, and if you’re completing a master’s with a strong thesis, you might qualify for their PhD programs. So, I would suggest staying at your current university to finish your master’s, and then applying to your dream university in the Netherlands to enroll in a PhD program.
even if you apply for February intake, it wouldn’t be for the program you actually want. So why force yourself into a master's you’re not really interested in? It would be a waste of time, money, and energy if it’s not aligned with your real goals. But, idk tho its still up to you u lol hahaha
Not for masters but for Bachelor also passed the date for Application but i communicated with the Applications office and said that i have sended my documents via post and the post was lost(in the uni i aplied they wanted to have my documents via post) and they told me to send it again so even tho it was 1 month past The Application date i got accepted so i know some unis in the eu make it more flexible for international students, idk if that would be the same case with your uni or if that is not your specific problem and its just diplomatic but if your problem was realated to this i hope it helps
