With this continuation I finally understand why the ex keeps poking his nose in their business. He’s envious, it shows in what he says to Yutaka at the wedding. It’s clear he’s decided to box himself within social “norms” and is jealous of Minoru and Yutaka for being able to love each other. He’s still a jerk, but I pity him bc there are many people who live this way, lying to themselves to fit within the social standards.
yeah it's sad cause there are truly many such cases where the "heir" of a rich family or big businesses are forced to live a heteronormative life no matter what... there's nothing much they can do

Idk how he puts up with that. I need a longer side story of Gale groveling at Robin’s feet for the next decade and more to make up for everything he did. Dude is actually crazy. Kept tabs/wire tapped Robin for ten years while ghosting him to “keep him safe” without any promises or explanations. Slept w every mom dad bro and sis during that time. Then suddenly drop back into Robin’s life by keeping him as a hostage sex slave for 10 days…….Gale is absolutely sex crazed, yes. But killing without remorse too. Gale lives on pure instincts it’s insane how different the brothers are even though their family is technically still considered “close”
Both have valid points, but one has the wrong approach and that’s Garam. Literally running away, leaving a stupid note as if that’s going to solve anything. Sit down, face to face, talk! Cleaning out all of your shit is such a slap in the face, that’s the equivalence of “oh we are not on the same page right now so I’m going to peace out until you get on my page, but I don’t want to break up, but I also don’t want to move back or be near you until you understand my side”. So childish! In my last comment I was trying to defend Garam, but with his latest escape act I can’t even take his side anymore. Jaehyuk is a SAINT at this point for putting up w this behavior. Garam has NO faith in their relationship that he’d rather walk out than talk it out.
I sympathize with Garam even though I hate their miscommunication. It’s hard dating someone who’s overwhelmingly confident like Jaehyuk since he’s never been a reject/outcast, while Garam has such personal trauma of being outed, blamed, and betrayed. Both have a point, Jaehyuk is right that they cannot hide their relationship forever, but coming out to everyone without helping Garam get over his own trauma first is NOT the way to go. Jaehyuk almost telling his straight friends about their relationship in public is like extreme exposure therapy for Garam, too sudden, too much, no time to mentally prepare/protect himself.
Garam should recognize that Jaehyuk is 1000% committed to their relationship, but Jaehyuk also needs to see that Garam needs healing first, a person can’t just magically get over their insecurities just bc their partner loves them. Social pressure/rejection is real and if you’ve never been on the receiving end of it, you wouldn’t understand the fear

It would be a HUGE character development if Jk respects Dan enough to not use him like usual for the jinx. Like he just goes into the fight as is. Dan insists that they do it so he can be useful, but Jk just turns him down. And he struggles in the ring but he overcomes his jinx somehow, with Dan just genuinely supporting him from the side, without the transactional s*x. That would be PEAK character development. Please. PLEASE

The worst character in this entire saga was Hayato’s arranged marriage partner who practically forced him into marrying her to save his family as well as Touma’s from financial ruins. She caused so much pain and resentment for everyone. Otherwise, I love that the ending was a full circle moment. Touma and Hayato ended up together in spirit. Touma’s attendant finally passed on from her regrets after seeing that their reincarnation finally got their happy ending. Only that one single SH*T of a character was never seen again. I don’t even want to imagine her living out a happy married life with Hayato after Touma died
