The author obviously has a direction they want the story to go in but in the pursuit of that they threw away any kind of semi though unreal logic, they saw a problem but instead of working through it and coming up with even a slightly believable solution they plowed through head first with a "I want it this way so the main characters have to deal with it" mindset and it SHOWS
What I mean is that as an author their ideas should be able to come to life but in the same they also have to work through it and create a sable foundation for actual world building, they are creating laws and rules out of thin air to support their wants for the story when they should have created background for said rules, instead they are throwing all of their weak ideas and troupes into a pot and serving it out half baked
I love their dynamic, because at first glance the mc is reluctant towards the ml but if you actually watch how he acts and pampers the ml you can see how much he absolutely adores him no matter how much he says he doesn't, he's been whipped since the moment the ml kissed him wrapped in curtains, there is always that one couple where the old lady "hates" her husband but would also give her own life for him, and that's them yk
There are so many things wrong with this and I am an enjoyer of the ancient toxic yaoi texts, first off, you can’t sit there the whole time saying the mc has the mind and will of an alpha and let him be so teary and pathetic at the same time, if alphas are the elites in this world why can’t the mc fight, why did he never question or resist his situation in a way that resembles that elite mind set like seriously he’s just a fucking twink with a mean side eye.
Secondly I love me a stoic ml who has the whole ceo thing going on but tell me why he has the personality and communication skills of a hump happy brick wall, like he wears a suit even at home, there are times you show and times you tell, here in the case of the mls personality the author fell short on both
And moving on to my third complaint of the thousands marinating in my brain rn, the mc is 17, yeah whatever kinda Grody but not anything we haven’t seen before, it’s just the pure babifacation of the mc that confused me, like hes supposed to be a 17yr old alpha and the people around him at an ALL ALPHA SCHOOL mind you are supposed to buy it, so why is my vacuum taller than him? Is the ml just 8ft or something seriously idk it’s just genuinely crazy, the lack of knotting or actual deep dive into the omegaverse aspect just set the story up for a perfect redirection if they wanted to film a new mulan movie “femboy pretends to be masc, joins elite family bullshit, marries a looksmaxer in a Tjmax suit”

Bruh y'all don't even hear yourselves, you are calling the seme a weird gross poc when the uke had and still has the intention to get the seme pregnant, a man he sees as human, the uke fully intends to throw a human with the wrong biological structure into a situation of finding out he's a shifter and has impregnated him in order to sire his children, yet you think the seme who has new found feelings for the uke who also knows the uke is a shifter is worse because he has a possessive streak? One intends to take the children and leave, the other intends to keep their partner by their side no matter what, there is no side to take in this situation, just read and enjoy how the story pans out, if you start using your brain too much it will ruin the excitement of the dumb shit that this story is composed of, seriously fucking annoying when dim witted yaoi warriors come out of nowhere spouting stupid ass opinions over irrelevant problems, if this story was promoting slavery, racism, explicit and realistic rape, and so on there would be room for conversion but as of now I don't see anything too stand off -ish because both the seme and uke are on equal footing
I like your angle so much they deserve each other
I would agree that Yumins intentions of getting Taejun pregnant weren't rid of harm. He did have a way of approaching him though which had nothing to do with drugging him or locking him up and shit. There is a clear difference here plus the power imbalance - NOT on equal footing in that sense. Just cuz you're gonna ignore these nuances and look from a different perspective doesn't make others dim witted lmao. Let people have and express their opinions.
Also "both are bad" doesn't suddenly make them good. This would just be reasoning to dislike Yumin too, not to like Taejun.
They're both trying I get each other pregnant, both very terrible people for doing that without each others consent, they totally deserve each other
It's hard to let others express their opinions when they are oh so very flawed, you don't see them as they are because you have created a bias, the uke presents as naive and harmless despite his blatantly scummy and red flag intentions, he didn't even have the intention to fall in love with the man he baby trapped yet you draw the line at drugging, and that stands to reason that if there are special conditions in order to get the uke pregnant why wouldn't there be to get the seme or whoever ended up in the ukes radar, you fail to realise that they both hold almost the same intention yet choose separate ways of pursuing them, you don't like the seme because you are comparing him to others in the past that held every ounce of power and intent, you aren't able to process that both the seme and uke are big waving red flags in their own ways LMAO
Okay
