Last comment on this story let’s remember some of the things TJ has done that everyone like to forget : he broke Ian’s leg which ruined his motor cross dream and sponsorship and opportunity to escape the gang, he made him deal with drugs to pay for a debt with interest he put him in, he put him in prison for 2 years by sending his subordinate to assault him ending up in Ian killing him for self defense which also made him suicidal because of the guilt, got mad at Ian for reclaiming his own rapist’ name and made it about himself, he used his ugly scar to guilt trip Ian, has insulted him and been a brute physically, for example by shoving him to the wall or punching him, or calling him a sinister guy behind his back to his homophobic gang members, which reminds me he was seeing women and being down low but would stop Ian from seeing men in private, he also sent guys to assault Jo ending up with his fingers broken because he was close to Ian because he stalks him, overall he did everything to keep Ian in a violent, traumatizing, homophobic gang because he’s hungry for power even though they both had opportunities for better lives (tj with a foster family, ian with his motorcross dream he could’ve been sponsored for) and more outside of the obvious crimes he committed in the gang and that I have forgotten. He also never apologized once or admitted/acknowledged anything, he kept penetrating Ian even when he was told to stop or slow down (this is for the moralist who call a certain character a rapist when tj is factually one), and at last had told Ian he’d beat him and drag him back to him against his will, how romantic. An angel, really, I wish we had seen his character development, because we sure hear about it but haven’t seen any of it!

Finally, I think that what sums up their relationship very well is their previous main reunion : stinky rough toilet sex laced with a meaningless discussion and getting shoved to the wall. They’ll never have any romanticism, any symbolism, just +20 years of misery and that’s what they deserve to be remembered as. Y’all’s fav couple I guess, I hope you all find your own TJ irl

         Get ready for some psychologically draining and
         emotionally terrible manga!

Extremely unpopular opinion, but It was good until it was not. The start was magnificent, a perfect cocktail of mystery, a deliciously unsettling atmosphere that makes you shiver and question your own sanity. The MCs were also so well built, you just KNOW there is something grotesque under those smiles, but you cannot exactly point where that feeling comes from. Then the police guy began to remember, and especially after he remembered the other guy's parents, all the good building went astray. The story started to feel erratic, just like a fever dream. The demonic shadows, the Addams family severed hands that make people go boom, the half assed explanation of what exactly is this inhuman being in the black room. How were they summoned? What is their purpose? For how long had they existed? Why is the mirror the trigger? Are they the personification of the ugly human desires even we to ouselves cannot espress? I guess we will never know. The ending was what did it for me after all the previous chapters nonsense. They made it seem as if they were freed from some kind of suppression of self imposed by society. Let your insane be free baby. But to me it felt more like they were bewitched once and for all by the shadows entities.

I truly WANTED to like this, and I did, until the supernatural out of pocket stuff.
