I agree. I will add though that some miscommunication arcs are badly done. Overall I don't mind them, and I like seeing the internal struggle of a character about "why" they feel they can't open up to their significant other. But I feel like if that isn't there, or if those reasons are fairly shallow in their presentation then that's why the arc isn't satisfying.

yup maybe it all about corecctly using it, but im just frustrated that people doeant even try to read it again for them to understand but just directly hating it that some even train hopp on those hate especially on tiktok.

I find that frustrating no matter what the trope. I get not liking something and deciding to put it down because of that, but labeling all things the same over a trope without even giving it a chance? To me it's more about the execution. Especially if it's not even something triggering. I get it if somebody puts a story down over depictions of violence, or it's hitting too close to home because of a trauma. But things like a chasing arc or miscommunication I categorize as fairly benign.

Because kids are reading here. No sane adult would do that.

oh yeah and you are my world is definitely pretty top x buff bottom and it has beautiful art but it just needs a shit ton of warnings bc everyone thought it was just childhood friends to lovers with down bad alpha chasing after an omega who can’t accept his subgender but nope… on top of that is a hella manipulative seme who forced said childhood friend into being dependent on him. personally i would let it marinate. like if it was properly tagged there would have been less outrage (for example u don’t expect unfinished business or reverse thinking to be rainbows and unicorns). but yeah there’s dub con, straight up non con, heat addled consent issues. (but there’s so much yearning and me rooting for an omega to succeed in fields dominated by alphas. i wanna see where the author decides to go with this)
