Sometimes I wondered what going through author minds when making character like him. Lying lying liar. If he is not lying, it’s even worse, it’s mean he is a finicky person who can’t make up his mind, and is performative enough to try to use his words to manipulate people to see him in a better light than he actually is. Long term, that’s a sign of a toxic relationship.
At this point it is best if Wooyeon just grew out of this “long-term crush” and developed into a credible human being.

If anyone frustrated like me. I recommend you seek out spoilers too. There was praise but there was also very legit concerns. And as someone who has their fair share of experience with PTSD/CPTSD, I have to sided with the concerns.
I’m convinced the author has no experience in this aspect and just wanted to write some angsty story. I can’t describe it, but you can feel it if you have been through similar experiences. Before your brain can even register what is going on, your whole being is already responding negatively to it. The mere existence of them in your mind can make you nauseous. I also used to have a crush on someone when I was around 14-16, got confessed by them when I was around 20, and I hated it, I wished they had just stay as a good memory, a crush in the past. And not the nauseatingly disgusting memories I have of them now.
I dont care aboutthem having a crush before. ML was matured enough to back off anyway. Plus 20 is still young. Not that I would like a 16 and 20 paired up. Still at least he was wise enough to know the limits.
What I did not like was how he keeps lying right now. I had a hard time reasing the manhwa cause i dont get him, he piss me off somehow. I cant read him. So i read the novel. His reason if i remember correctly was because he was scared. He was scared to reveal everything. Doesn't change the fact that he was a liar. What really ticked me off is him saying he liked him since before. Not true.. He forgot about him momentarily chasing after his sunbae. Im probably just being petty about that part

no way... but that's so good? to the point that even the translated novel have a lot of active readers. maybe bro you're not for Murim manhwa, you know, murim manhwa has to be read for about 50 chapters for you to see the interesting part, but once you get past that it will be awesome you might even get addicted to the genre
Im new to Murim particularly but I've been reading Xianxia. Its more about Chinese cultivation and Gods rather than Martial arts. And as a die hard fan of Shounen/Isekai manga reader id say its pretty easy to like Murim.
I absolutely love Return of the Mount Hua Sect. it’s an 9/10 for me across both the webtoon and the novel. Art reminded me of greatest estate developer.
Hoping to find something similar. I checked out Master Baek, but I had to drop it by chapter 54. The plot was okay like so so, but my main issue was the art. Unlike other manhwa with highly detailed action, the fight scenes here felt heavily cut short, as if the artist just skipped drawing them. It skips the detailed action you actually want to see.
Plus, the martial arts techniques had incredibly corny, random names that took me out of the story. I gave it shot. Id say it 6/10

Basically, they have zero patience for talking and would rather just punch someone into the dirt than argue over details. So if you have any suggestions pls recommend or any murim you think is good. Ill check it out
