All the men are trash in this one. Even the ML. I was fooled. How can he just give away the gift she gave him!!? And to another woman at that. I have to drop it now for my own sanity. If anyone has spoilers please I’m open to being spoiled.
it's broken (sorta) he doesn't think he's gonna see her ever again and he's really into rejecting his feelings. in the novel it's very internal in the dialogue and this dude is in complete denial of how much FL is affecting him. he's trying to distance from his own feelings when he gives it away. he's carrying it around even after it stopped working and really confused why he's so attached to it so when that girl asks for it he's like oh here's a good opportunity to prove i don't care about her at all! but obviously he does.
(Ch. 28) please let me know if ML actually stops liking bully seongha(?) or that I’m wrong about him liking her. I don’t understand how suppose ML can like that dumb little b*tch bully. Like wtf. I feel like it’s such a turn off. If author was going to make a ML like this then don’t even bother adding that romance plot. It’s pissing me off. Idk how I’m gonna get myself to like this ML. He is lowkey giving dreaming freedom second lead a little bit.
I feel like we’re missing a whole chapter cause when did this dealing happen with the duke and the ML and how are they all of a sudden so close like this. Like in chapter 9 ML mentioned that FL seems clueless about the world and there’s flashbacks between them. Like when did that happen!!? I don’t like the pace of this.
Someone needs to explain this new kingdom, old kingdom situation. I’m really confused. Which ones past and which ones present or future?? Who’s from what place?
I think they are both from the present. There are two places; the old and new world. The old world is where the MC is and where the princess is and all that. The new world is where the red haired dude is. The MC kinda teleports from the old world to the new world when she dreams. The MC thinks that the new world (yk when she dreams) is the past because the ML has the same face and name as the “hero” from the past. My guess is that the ML is the hero’s descendant. So don’t be confused w the present or past or future bc everything is taking place at the same timeline. Oh and the forest is the place separating the two.
Old world: MC, Princess, Temple, Priests, Ect.
New World: ML, all of ML attendants
The Captain is from the new world and went to chase sorcerers that fleed from the old world to the new. It was in the forest where she met the MC.
Right now the MC is in another kingdom within the old world. She grew up in one kingdom, the one where the king found her and where she was a preist in training. Once the princess married to a prince from another kingdom, she went w her.
In irl history, when the americas were discovered, it was called the new world while Europe, Africa, and Asia were called the old world. My prior knowledge of this led me to assume that the “new/old” didn’t reference a timeline or past/present, but were just names.
The story also hints to the MC’s true appearance being the purple hair/eyes. She apparently wishes to be “not noticable”, which results in her unconsciously changing her appearance to brown hair/ eyes. There was one chapter where she kinda wished to have purple hair/eyes for a sec and it changed in the mirror, but then it went away when she was like “I want to be normal and not stand out” or smth like that. I think when she visits the MC, she is using her spirit or would or smth that shows her true appearance, hence the purple.
The MC is also seeing him through the dreams with some sort of method, it can’t be teleportation because in the carriage ride, her body didn’t disappear. So I’m guessing her aperiance in the new world is some sort of spirit or soul of hers that is powered by her magic (because remember she has a cooldown of how often she can visit based on her mana capacity or wtv).
And the captain physically traveled from the new to the old world, so that’s why it’s less complicated for her. She isnt traveling w her soul, using up mana like our MC is. I think of it like flying somewhere vs FaceTiming.
What happened. ML was doing so well. Chapter 35 and he’s literally acting like a jerk. Hopefully he gets some sense knocked into him. Glad FL didn’t give in and is actually standing up for herself somewhat against the ML. Prince Rainian a real one for being a feminist but I hope he doesn’t go after a married woman.

Am I stupid? Are we forgetting that her parents were ass to her in the beginning chapters? I don’t understand why the author is trying to redeem them so badly it seems. They haven’t apologized to FL yet for being bad parents who prioritized her brother over her. I’m not really feeling good about these recent chapters. I hope they do apologize soon.
Tysm! I'm now dropping this sht
Damn, I almost forgot about it. The direction of the story is getting a bit frustrating now TT
Oh. My. God. I completely forgot about it, they almost had me fooled broo okay I'll drop this now and because of the age gap of her parents
Old age old time. The father wanted her daugther to get married in a good family. Came back learn she broke off her engagement and start to be angry at her. They didn t even know why she broke it off! Her mom didn t do anything wrong she even step up when the other mom (the mom from the guy who was cheating on her) came to her.
You know being angry and missunderstanding can happen it doesn t mean abusive. They are just strict and controling (and guess what normal behavior for that time period) so yeah since this is "normal" no she wont make a case with that asking for forgiveness and so on.
Um no. Just because it was normal at that time doesn’t mean it was okay. Let’s not forget that she has memories of her past life so technically she should be asking for their apologies. And the way her parents reacted was just wrong in general. Even if her father wanted her to be married to a good family, he shouldn’t have acted like that towards her saying she was disgracing the family name. Both her parents shouldn’t have. FL even says it herself “they force me to be a quiet modest lady”. I have read many historical manhwas where FL parents have reacted way better than this FL parents who defended their son. They need to apologize. Doesn’t matter if it was “normal” or not.
Honestly speaking idt the author has lived in an abusive (mentally) household so they prolly think its all lala lala
But she did disgrace the family name XD XD
So did her brother!? But they never said shit about that. If they were gonna treat her like that then give the same treatment to the son. Simple as that.
Also “disgracing the family” just because she got with someone right after breaking off her engagement with her cheating ex? Coming from her parents, does that not sound messed up to you?
They didn t know he was cheating, again the mom later take her daugther defense when the mom of the cheating guy comes to ask her to make her daugther taking her son back. the father is making a fuzz because it was too soon to go with ML he was a stranger.
what did the son/brother did to disgrace the family name? She just said he was the "fav" and everything he does was oki. It was like that at the time men were allowed to do things women wasn t allowed too. Men was the one who ll become the head of a family, women were send to get married and creat some "transaction" it was exactly like that at the time. Women had "transactional value" not men, this is why they were treaed differently.
It doesn’t matter if the mom knew he cheated later on and defended her daughter. I’m not talking about that scene. I’m talking about the beginning when they called her a disgrace and disregarded all the bs her brother did. They need to apologize for that. It’s great that her mom defended her later on. Amazing. Bravo. I’m happy she did. But that shouldnt take away from how they treated her in the beginning.
Also again with the “it was normal during that time” (This is equivalent to saying “child marriages being depicted in historical manhwas/novels are fine because it was normal back then”). Even if it was normal it shouldn’t be normalized. Yes. Men were prioritized as the heir. Doesn’t mean they should treat their daughter like that. All I’m asking is that they apologize for how they were in the beginning. That’s it. However, I can tell they do still somewhat care for her. But again. They still treated her badly and still need to apologize for it.
Also that whole beginning scene was just a set up anyways by the author so that there was a reason for the ML to swoop in and “save” FL by having her live in his place even though they’re not married yet.
at this point lets agree to disagree.
Little tip to get your satisfaction about the story. The story is like "slided" you just need to think they already did at some point it s just not being shown and voilà!
I’ll take the agree to disagree. Imma just say the author is not great at writing.
well on that I ll give you 100% right. It's clearly a "light story" not a complex one that's for sure!!
