All right ima talk a lot since I just finished this. And let’s just say I have a lot to say.
-ok, in my honest opinion, I like the characters as a couple but I hated them as individuals. Both the first and second couple either had shitty personalities or did shitty things to each other.
Starting with the first couple-
(The reason why i don’t like Black-haired MC1)
-first of all black-haired MC1 completely ruin the side character, Kwon’s, life by beating him up and giving him a concussion. I understand why MC1 beat Kwon up, it was because Kwon bullied him but I don’t think that justifies MC1 ruining Kwon’s life. Kwon didn’t understand his feeling for black-haired MC1 and Kwon’s parents were sh*t. I agree that Kwon deserved to be punish for his wrongs, but did I think he should have a permanent injury that might be irreversible and affect him for the rest of his life? They were only in middle school, Kwon was dumb and quite naive but that doesn’t mean he should have been beat half to death. I disagree to agree with MC-1 actions but I understand where MC-1 came from and why he did it. Kwon’s life was ruined in the end and he dropped out of school. Along with that, He no longer had friends or any one of call family, he must have been very lonely. I want Kwon to be happy, I think he has suffered more than enough, to being beat half to death, losing all his friends, and everything else. I think he deserves to be happy the most. For these reason I really dislike MC1.
(Reason why I don’t like ML of first couple)
-Don’t even get me started about ML1 of the first couple. He had a trash personality towards everyone but MC1. He was a literal bully. He was willing and open to humiliating everyone around him to get the attention of MC1. I know he changed and apologized at the end but he the damage and humiliation was already done. From blackmailing pink-haired MC2 to playing porn in front of the class to humiliate pink-haired MC2. Like I don’t know how or why MC2 forgave ML1 since it was super bad.
(Lol, one thing both ML1 and MC1 have in common is that they both apologized to the people they hurt long after the damage was done and the people affected were already tired of it)
[overall, if we forget what they have done to everyone around them, then the first couple are really cute. But honestly it made me disappointed how they were so cute as a couple but I hated their guts)
Next I’d the second couple-
(I also didn’t like the second couple but they were better than the first couple)
-ok so to start the ML of the second couple or ML2 was extremely SUS. I always felt like he was hiding something from MC2 or that he was playing around and didn’t really like MC2. ML2 was a playboy who dated someone new every year but what is different about MC2. And there didn’t really seem to be anything different with MC2 because their chemistry was eh… like it was kind of dull. I don’t even know why ML2 like MC2. It feels like basically that ML2 is an empty character who we kind of know bits and pieces about but not that much.
-last but now least pink-haired MC2, I disliked him a lot at times because of the choices he made but I came to forgive him sometimes. I still don’t like him a whole lot but he is better than some of the others. He was a character with flaws done decent I guess.
(Overall, this manhwa was kind of a let-down but all well, because I didn’t like any of the characters)
I mean why else does the ML2 like the seunghee?
He was interesting to him. Also I’m pretty sure they gave like 2 chapters of ML2 POV of his thoughts on seunghee and why he liked him. Another thing, ML2 wasn’t a playboy, bc it didn’t mentioned he had lots of girlfriends or has a playboy personality. Just bc he has a few girlfriends in the past doesn’t make him a playboy bc usually a playboy would still be hitting on girls or going on dates with girls but ML2 never did that once he was in highschool bc that’s where he met seunghee.
Also I never understand why people like you call ML2 sus bc it didn’t seem that to me, he’s just an slightly awkward teenager. People who call him sus are usually the ones that prefer seunghee to be with the cousin even though they’re Friends.
Ok, I’ll be honest. I may have gone a little over board with the second couple cause my hatred for the first couple may have transferred over to the second couple a little bit. (￣∇￣") Now that I have had a bit of time to cool down, i honesty don’t think they were that bad. Like I didn’t hate them but I also don’t like them. I still don’t like the manhwa as a whole but they were ok I guess. I agree that my wording of playboy may have been a bit harsh since it wasn’t like he purposely pursued them, tho I will say it seemed like he played with their hearts to an extent. And also I wanted the cousin, Kwon to just be happy. I didn’t care what form that would take so I didn’t care weather he ended up with MC2 or not but if that would be his happiness then sure but he found it another way so I’m happy for him. I still think ML2 was umm SUS in the beginning but I will say it gets better, he seems less SUS towards the end, although I’m my opinion still a little sus. All in all, the second couple isn’t as bad as I make them seem but they aren’t great either in my opinion. Sorry for the harsh wording but I’ll blame it on the first couple for ruining my mood at the time. #－.－)

But yea, altho I agree he def was wrong in brutalizing imbeom, the first time, as u oh-so-briefly touched on, he was being bullied by him (which doesn’t justify to the extent he hurt him, but does paint a slightly more nuanced picture), and the second time was after imbeom had already assaulted seungtaek in retaliation and was now threatening (?) him again. Quite frankly, I could almost argue the second time they fought (which is when imbeom got his amnesia) seungtaek was almost acting in self defense? can’t rmmbr who threw the first punch, but by the time seungtaek had gotten around to pummeling imbeom, he’d already gotten his own ass kicked, & was about to be (tho I think it was just a kiss) sexually assaulted as well. So tho it again doesn’t justify to the degree he hurt him, it does add MUCH needed context
TLDR; they were both in the wrong! Seungtaek’s not detestable at all, sorry~
(PS: u also keep saying seungtaek “ruined imbeom’s life”, & while he most definitely did exacerbate his suffering
1. Imbeom started shit
2. How was he supposed to know imbeom had a bad home life? he only walked in after the phone call (in the flashback) so it’s not like he knew & was tryna kick a man when he was down lol
3. Imbeom’s life isn’t over. On the contrary, he’s young, so it’s only just begun. And now he knows how to treat people, so he can start over as a better person & form better connections lol)

Ok, sooo. I’m in a predicament in my thinking. So we know that the uke had his first everything’s with the seme but I wanted to know if seme also had his everything’s with uke and I thought so at first too but it isn’t ever confimed so now I’m in a predicament. My reasons for think that seme also had his firsts with the uke…
1. Seme didn’t realize that he liked and was absorbed in Arochi until the sick chapter. It was a realization and an understanding of his feelings (which was btw super cute! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧)
2. My biggest reason is, they went to an all boys school meaning that there are no girls to get close and touchy with

I liked the first couple but I personally thought seme was kind of pushy and wouldn’t listen sometimes to uke. Like I know that’s how he got close but what if uke really wanted him to stop, would he? I liked the second couple way more because it was a story of trama and opening up doors that had been closed. Jaeha deserved to be happy, I know he was the main problem but he at least deserved to be happy. ┗( T﹏T )┛

It was worth the read for me! I'm pretty good at holding grudges but the procession of the story was good. Like, your emotions develop along with the MC, it was well paced imo. I did feel the ending was a bit rushed but that just might me bc I wish for more, it's definitely a HEA(⌒▽⌒)
I recommend reading the first 15 chapters, then skimming trough the rest of this garbage to at least know what's going on. You can 100% skip all of the internal dialogue and wizard talking with the gang. Nothing happens in there besides talk about how strong ML is or how MC got tortured in his past life.
Shoot, I’m trying to reread this but I’m struggling. It feels so slow like I don’t remember it being this slow.
