Just finished the current official chapters, and all I can is that the pacing really sucks. The fighting are so short, and cut so suddenly. I rlly expected a lot from this manhwa, but alas I was not wrong about how fast paced this manhwa felt like lol

There's only one thing I rlly hate about this manhwa. It's the fact that the author is forcing the fl to somehow fall head over heels to the ml, DESPITE being like, what, 6yrs old??? Chp.42, and she's alrdy here blushing so hard and going bathump bathump. Why the rush??? I don't get it. It would've been reasonable if she was alrdy at least 12-13 yrs old, BUT SHES A CHILD NO??? Hmm, as someone that works with children I’d say this is actually pretty realistic often times little girls fall for the handsome older type regardless of how much older they are, I see it in my younger cousins as well she’s at the age where it’s actually 100% normal for this to be happening
I can however agree that the manwha does feel surface level, like they didn’t develop a child who was abused correctly, her having a crush is okay and on point for behavioral patterns of a young girl especially one who is just now seeing handsome men/boys and one who’s grown up hearing her cousin praise the crown prince so much. He was already seen as this admirable figure to her even before she met him.

Oh I'm annoyed with the fl's personality now.. she fr forgave Lawrence??? Wtf??? Girl, u could've been heavily injured, or worse DEAD. I almost love the fl's idgf personality, but I misunderstood. Actually I felt like what she did aligned well with her character and what she experienced in the past... there was this flashback of her being shamed and shunned even after working her ass off... so when she said that to Lawrence that she knew what he feels, it seems she could relate to it... which is not out of character for her... if she really were such a idgaf character then she wouldn't have asked bertio for dance at all at the ball...
Also, if she didn't care about Lawrence being expelled, she'd seem more like a Mary sue kinda character...
It's like... she chose to battle him despite knowing the worst possible outcome... and hence accepted whatever the outcome was... maybe this is also why she didn't understand why the saintess was so angry...
