Tbh torn about whether I’m giving this story a 4 or 5 because jaemin and soohyun are such assholes and that I don’t understand their personalities, like where that shit is coming from; but at the same time, their personalities being hard to read is also what gives the story its charm, so it’s not as frustrating as I thought it would be. I think it’s also because the drama is balanced with the comedy so it’s a little more bearable? Either way, Daon HAS to end up Sunghyeon, because it’s just the most logical choice among the three.

I don’t like how this story is getting draggy because literally why do some webtoons feel the need to have long ass chapters only for them to have little to no development, going back and forth with the same issues every time. Ngl, I didn’t like that backstory as well. It felt very underwhelming and I thought Yahwi had a deeper connection with Jooin (although it doesn’t excuse his shitty behavior), but it didn’t show jackshit. What was the most off to me was the “gimme a kiss” scene, yeah they were kids, but that was the most childish thing an author could write (as someone who is very self-critical and has been writing ever since high school, that would be something I would write as a 12-year old kid). It would definitely be understandable if this was more of a comedy, but it isn’t. I just hope the author steps up with the development of this story (and also choose cain, tired of seeing pushover ukes end up with manipulative asshole semes).

Holy crap, right from the start I knew their grandfathers had that kind of story, I just wasn’t sure. After that chapter, I was just left hurting wth

jooin's stupid as hell istg.... he's really calling yahwi's change in tone, character development and that somehow deserves a second chance :-) I'm so tired of pushover mc x shitty seme with issues that think small character development and a flashback's going to forgive him for everything he's done trope in manhwas... it's the worst trope ever and idk why it's so overdone

I rarely reread manga/hwa/hua, but this has always been on my mind even after finishing it in 2018 and now I have some time to reread and it really will always stay at the top 10 of my list! The characters, plot, and comedy really were all top notch, and I really am a sucker for the love-hate rival trope so I kinda have a bias towards beomchul and jaehee's relationship, but wooseung and sunjin were just as cute. Anyway, idk why this doesn't get as much attention as others it's pretty underrated

I rarely like drama on my manhwa only because the typically popular ones just make me feel very frustrated, it’s not really well done or it’s just very cliche AND it has too much sex (imo, but I guess most yaoi are borderline pwp), but this made me feel very different. Despite them being p0rn actors, I think the ratio of the sex scenes to the plot were just balanced and I like it that way. Of course, we all have different preferences, but you can’t deny that this has substance. The art and the mood were paired so well!

Also, I did want more development between Chang and Ed just because their relationship was interesting because Chang was so confusing lmao but in the end I just really hated Chang for doing what he did and he deserved what happened to him.

Forgive me if I disrupted the chain of hating on the red haired dude, I just finished season 3, so I had to say this. Please don’t jump me for my opinion cos I’m not hating on this story, I’m well aware this is yaoi, and that everyone loves sex scenes as much as the next person, but it just didn’t go too well with the vibe the story was giving. I know author-nim worked hard on this and I salute them for stepping outside their comfort zone! They did so well, but I just hoped they didn’t have to turn to “every other chapter sex” or the typical yaoi manhwa where everything is almost drowned in sex, as, again, it wasn’t consistent with the vibe the previous seasons were going for, and it honestly reduced the plot to something it was not and everything just felt like fillers. Like a lot of yaoi manga, I think they could’ve gone for the plot, then sex at the end, a few epilogues/extra chaps, then ended the story right there; or they could lengthen the story but lessen the sex scenes (somehow like Love Nest).

Wow I was so excited for this manhwa because it was tagged as seke, but then it turned out so fricking bad that I had to drop it halfway.... Everything was just so unrealistic and fast paced, there were no room for the relationships to progress and develop properly. Examples of these would be Jordyn easily entering a relationship with Simon despite them knowing each other for only a few days, Simon getting mad out of the blue or for something that was barely noticeable as a problem, and how Owen developed feelings for Jordyn without being shown obvious reasons as to why he developed such.

Not only that, the whole thing became so over the place when Simon finally developed feelings for Owen?? God fucking dammit, what was all the infidelity for? and the shitty excuse Owen gave with hurting the people he wanted to be close to, pertaining to having sex with Jordyn's partner as the ONLY solution to break them up. Really? Plus, he technically r4ped Jordyn, fuck that shit.

I don't even rate stories as low as 1-star, but the whole thing was just so stupid and over the place I couldn't help myself. There goes the 4 hours I wasted reading this.
