So far I'm eating this up.
I love the fact that there's an ACTUAL storyline and not just mindless smut.
I smell a throuple between Warden, MC and Shen (not a huge fan of throuple) but I think I'll love this one.
The art is honestly gorgeous, and I love the concept

I just binge read the chapters and honestly, there's a lot to unpack...
First of all...the pacing is abysmal, and the progression is incredibly rushed.
We're not even properly introduced to any of the characters or world development...we know a bit, but that bit doesn't seem to be expanded on adequately.
So many plot holes so far, and the way it's going...I honestly don't think any of those holes are going to be filled.
Power system is repetitive asf, there aren't any unique abilities and I still haven't grasped how the abilities work even after 18 chapters.
Honestly, I feel like the author is just doing practise with this one, because there are so many ways it would have been better if not for how rushed everything is...
Also, this may not be a problem for others, but there are ALREADY hints of tacky, slop romance. (It's hopefully going to be one sided and not the focus of the story in the slightest)
Still...I don't think a rating of 7.7 is fair, I'd actually give it a lot higher for hopes things get better.
I'll keep my eye out for this one though, in hopes things improve... but I wouldn't keep my fingers crossed.
I'd rate it a solid 8.3 but I'm going to put five stars just cuz I want to bump up the ratings a bit.

One thing is that the author will make Manjo unironically a bigger assho/e than Ajho, and make all our premature yearning for Manjo to be endgame useless.
Or, they could make Manjo the biggest green flag in yaoi history, and still not make him endgame...
