A lot of bl have stories that wouldn't hold up with audiences beyond bl enjoyers, but this is one of those few that have that rare element that makes it feel like could hold up. The premise alone is just amazing: a man suffering from Alzheimer's has the ability to communicate with his past self to stop a murder. It's convoluted at points and over uses red herrings but it's still compelling throughout the entire process.
I've been thinking about why her trauma scenes so far hasn't left as much an impact on me as Yeonwoo's and I think it's just that can't follow up a chilling gangrape with a semi generic child abuse scene. We've all seen child abuse scenes, and most of us have scene at least one rape scene, but there was just something about the one in this that makes it more impactful then others I've seen. I can't say the same about the child abuse scene so far
So for a manga it'd be under 150 ratings and manhwas would be under 200 given that they're more popular. I hear people say a story is underrated basically because it's not talked about but it'd have like 600 ratings so clearly there's some attention given to the story, and even stories with like 300 ratings I still see people acknowledge so I'm try......
It can get annoying at points but when it gets in the rhythm of this as it's pretty good as long as you don't take it too seriously. The mc is trashy but he hasn't done anything that bad outside their first encounter and just became a sugar daddy. It feels like it'd be a solid 30 or so chapter story (the format feels like that'd be the ideal length) if we ever you know...get an update
Every interaction just feels stilted and forced, the dialogue is iffy at best, it just feels two layers removed from how actual humans talk and act. For example (this sequence just stuck out to me as particularly bizarre): getting sexually harassed, crying that you spilled water, ignore the previous sexual harassment and get into the person's shower, fall asleep on their couch where there's a brief obligatory nursing scene followed up by him basically forcing himself on him in his sleep. All in like 40 pages.
