how slow is the slow burn of the story? considering the current updates of the manhwa, and the slow development of the story, how long did it take for that spark in their relationship?
if ur looking for straight smut then this is def slow burn. but romance wise, both guys are are of the feelings pretty decently in (though slowly) so id say its a generic slow burn and not extremely slow

ermm i dont rlly read bl novels so im not sure, but as of all the released chapters, they are aware of feelings but nothing has physically happened between them. its decently slow, if you've read selfish romance, id say its similar to that pace of slow burn

Can someone spoil me the whole story? Im in ch 19.5 in the novel, and I seriously thought everything would be ending but then I see it has over 30 chapters. This had me so bored bcs every chapter felt the same, it’s incredibly slow burn.

bro the novel pmo so much. both assumed too much to the point that they never really go anywhere with many of their conversations. what pmo more was the fact that Yeon-oh was just incredibly obsessed and in love with Gi Hyeon but he couldn’t even confess properly. while i understand that it’s because of his pos junkie father, he still pissed me off so hard i was just rooting for Gi Hyeon to snap at him anytime. Then here comes Gi Hyeon that’s not even communicating well with what he feels and everything he thinks with Yeon-oh, which is also understandable bcs he doesn’t want to burden Yeon-oh, but like bitch??? He obv cares about you (and vice versa) you are literally like betraying his trust (even before the whole fake relationship ((started with his Gi Hyeon’s being an abusive fucker)), and you just assume everything will be okay if you bottle all of it up???
I know i said everything what pissed me off, but dont take it the wrong way, i think this was written really well; like the portrayal of everything was perfect for me. will definitely be waiting for the manhwa to finish.

srry i had to put that. they make up nearly at the very end, although things get revealed and such, there were still so many hurt feelings in the air (which was honestly a pain to read). The making up scene feels off to me in a way, but like if we look at it from Gi Hyeon’s pov, it would have really ended like that bcs he truly loves Yeon-oh no matter how many times they fight or get hurt emotionally.

if i recall correctly, the extra side stories start at 114. The MC literally is head over heels for the ML. Mc does give Ml a run with that chasing arc.. but it leads to some rlly annoying chapters. Thats just my opinion though, some might disagree, honestly just speed run the whole novel and it wasnt worth the reread for me. Imma just marinate the manhwa

I lied, I read until the latest chapter. This is a great story, i feel like an AU for this would be perfect. It reminded me a lot of when I first watched Summertime Rendering—that feeling of eerieness of the unknown.
