I think its more than “hes gay” or “hes bi” (rose), this is an actual entity that was curious and drawn by how edgar looked like—i dont believe that there was any romantic feelings involved. Rather, it was a relationship something like a child and their toy. It’s been a while since ive read the novel, and while I did joke about their relationship being doomed yaoi, their actual connection was never meant to be something of a romantic or platonic one. Rose is just a curious demon, thats all

this… i didnt expect it to go this way after years of marinating. what the fuck
came back here just to say that I hope both of your pillows stay cold. I hope that everytime you wake up, your muscles and bones dont ache. Wishing you have a great morning, followed by a fantastical afternoon, which all ends in a calm and breezy night. I hope you have enough melatonin to make you sleep atleast 8-10 hours so that you wake up refreshed. Add that with a sleep that doesn’t make you groggy in the morning.
koreans are by far (as ive observed) one of the most aggressive people when it comes to historical accuracy and portrayal of important events. in their most of their great media, you can definitely see the carefulness put into creating them as to not offend those who have actually been affected during those times. You have got to open your eyes and brain to see that this situation isn’t just simply cancel culture being toxic. While hating isn’t okay, the setting, time, and place makes the premise of the story just ignorant to those who were affected. It’s like twisting the dark facts to suit the general audience’s taste.

this is my third reread of the story, but one detail i keep on being confused about was hyunsoo’s past department. in the more recent chapters, its stated that he was in the marketing department, but like in chapter 1, the gossip among coworkers were talking about him probably being in the web design department—which is a totally different place than the web department, and the fact that he’s moved to the editorial dep kinda proves that this guy is a menace in both numbers and design.
but yes, back to my question, is this proof that they rlly tried hard to keep the scandal quiet? thats why the gossip is just gossip? or is this a case of the inconsistency of details?
from what i understand operations -> marketing and web design, hyunsoo was a web designer but then the blonde taekwondo coworker knew he was from marketing? omg wait im so dumb i was mistaking mrketing with accounting
