i postponed reading all of the side stories of the novel, but if i remember correctly, the reason why MC has that fate rn is because of his plan of the bridge to connect ML’S place (the salt one i forgot) and MC’s place. I think it was supposed to bring a lot of fortune to MC’s place, ML’s place, and the Capital as its like a Suez Canal sort of transportation. But yk greed and other shit happened, thats why they decided to do that to MC bcs he rlly was a genius and that power was too much and threatening.

I already had a hint of what the twist was going to be, but I dont know why I was SHOCKED when my predictions were true. Damn this is such a good story, idk why i passed on this before.
I keep on coming back to this story to reread specific scenes, and the one that I can't let go is the part where Yoohan films his suicide scene. Then atmosphere, the writing, the colors, the art.. everything is just perfect to give the reader the chills.
Fr its unforgettable, I actually came back to properly read this story and one of my reasons is for that scene

i mean, the plot had potential yk??? its just that the delivery and inconsistent pacing made it so unbearable to read (even if i read it up until the latest chapter.) the development of the story was not for me, but i was curious to where it would go. suffice to say that a lot more could have happened in those 60 chapters with the right amount of pace; it was like too slow then too fast???? idk if im going crazy over here, but this is by far one of the whackiest guideverse stories ive seen. if this has a novel, maybe id reconsider my opinion.
