I REMEMBER READING THIS PART IN THE NOVEL and the webtoon slightly toned down this gruesome part, which i'm really glad for.
If i remember correctly, that wing was NOT removed in a swift way, the guy struggled a bit to pull it off cuz of the bone i think (and the fact that it is a hard organ to pull off)
Im saddened about the fact that the new art is almost nothing like the old one. The reason i got into mayday mayday (aside from the plot) is because of how not twinkified mc was T-T
AND NOW HES SUPER TWINKIFIED LIKE WHAT
I have nothing against this art style, Im just disappointed at the inconsistency of it. As an artist myself, I do know that styles evolve and change, but goddamn I dont even know if i wanna give this sequel a shot T~~T
Or am I overthinking that their umbrellas represent the situation that just happened? Like Skylar's umbrella is transparent, and what he wants is for Cirrus to come clean to him. And Cirrus' umbrella was black, just like the lie he told Skylar; it then falls onto the ground, revealing the truth, matching Skylar's transparent umbrella, except this time there's no cover to protect him from the cold and harsh rain.
(Forgive me, my english is whack as it is not my first language)

AH ive just finished reading the novel, and im kind sad that its all done, hands down one of the best dystopian/sci-fi apocalyptic stories ive read!!. Time to wait for the manhwa now ig
NAURRR BECAUSE AFTER I FINISHED IT I SAT FIR LIKE 10 MINS AND WAS LIKE “holy fucking shit” anyways I highly recommend the other 2 dystopian/sci-fi bl novels by the same author “Cheonghwa town” and “perennial species”
Is it sad ending?
(Spoiler)
Nah I mean…yes it’s sad but it’s good ending
Can you please elaborate?
okay so (spoiler)
it's gonna be very touching because both characters r gonna "almost die" a bunch of times and there's a lot of separation arcs but it's gonna work out cause they both live.
Hiii so i js wanna ask, where do you read the novel? I’m rlly curious!!
here! https://readhive.org/series/50056/
OH MAH GAHHH IM ACTUALLY ABT TO READ THOSE CUZ I GOT BOREDD, TYSMM
Thankchuuu!!
After I read it, I wholeheartedly believe nothing can top the plot and romance and action combination in this novel. That type of yearning and passionate love had me staring at the wall because it left me feeling all kinds of butterflies. Anyways, I adored the novel too
I read it right after I read little mushroom SO THE BAR WAS HIGH AND IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Everything about it from the plot, the mystery the suspense, and the fact they could make even 7 minutes apart seem like forever to the characters ITS JUST UGHHHHHH. LIKE THIS IS WHY I LOVE IT SO MUCH AND I GET SO FRUSTRATED WHEN PPL SAY ITS MID AND I GOTTA REMEMBER THEY DIDNT READ THE NOVEL. LIKE MID??? THIS??? ITS ACTUAL PEAK AND THE ENDING WAS PERFECTION AHHHHHHHHHHH
Omfggg I read Little Mushroom after reading Rainbow City, two peaks !!! I swear I haven’t touched another novel because I read those two back to back and nothing comes close. They’re so similar yet so different, both amazing world building, characters that captivate and the yearn and angst that just eats you up ughh. I love these two novels so fucking much that I wish to bring them to afterlife so I can keep rereading them forever hahah . Sorry for the dramatics lol
WHAT DRAMATIC??? GIRL AINT NOBODY EXAGGERATING WHEN THEY SAY THIS THE BEST SH EVER BOTH OF THEM. YK HOW HARD IT IS TO FIND PPL WHO ENJOYED BOTH OF THEM AND UNDERSTANDS THE CHARM OF BOTH OF THEM INSTEAD OF BEING “oh this is better” TOUGH THESE DAYS. MMM MMM MMM
Girl THANK YOU. Ur so right, it’s hard to find people who enjoy both stories so much !! Glad to find a kindred spirit hahhaa. Gotta give one recommendation, “Reunion” novel was amazing, even though it’s a different genre. The story has such a charm, one of my favourite reads as well!!!
MMM I read the manhwa, It's a bit too tame for my taste but It's still really good regardless. Me personally, I recommend "Cheonghwa Town" and "Perennial species" novel written by the same author as rainbow city, both dystopian/sci fi because she's amazing at writing those. And for modern angst stories like Reunion, I HIGHLY reccomend her other novel "breath in the memory" I love her writing style so much and these might also be some novels you're interested in. AHHHHHHHHHHH
Thanks for the recommendation, will def check it out!! Literally this is what this website was for, sharing love for stories ahh
Do you know what chapter this is in the novel?
