Guys I’m on Chapter 11 and a bit confused. I’m not sure I fully understood who Giovanni is and what his connection to Jio is. Are they two different people who merged together? And what’s the point of them meeting? I don’t know if it’s because English isn’t my first language but even after re-reading the chapter I still don’t get it

the way gios painting works is that is goes through a list of existences that either have a name or nickname that has "gio" in it, and from there any of those existences that has compatibility with gios painting gets absorbed. to explain in further detail will lead to spoilers, but if your okay with it i can explain. the conclusion is that ALL the "gio's" that will be added to the painting are all the same. but different at the same time because they're existences that have compatibility with gio but have different...erm stories in the time when they were alive, i hope this made sense ╮(￣▽￣)╭
