maybe it’s just me, but I am so mother fucking direct about shit, often in multiple conversations over time (been together 14 yrs) and yet the conclusion my husband retains from these VERY CLEAR CONVERSATIONS are wildly different from what was said. okay but real talk, I have a genetic disorder that makes me very prone to bruising. one time when I was quite underweight, my spouse - who is NOT macho, dude is 6'3" & 150 lbs (but that’s how I like ‘em!) - gave me a massive bear hug and for real left some killer bruises on both my arms hahaha
