i‘m so confused why are so many people babying an assaulter and manipulator?? i get it, we saw quite a bit of his past (which makes him such a compelling and interesting character) but can you all please go back to season 1 and reread all the kinds of fucked up things mokyeon has done
i‘m not saying that nanjo is an uwu innocent baby who can’t tell right from wrong, but he has EVERY right to beat mokyeon up. WE as the READERS know exactly what’s going on in mokyeons head but nanjo is disturbed and confused because he has been lied to all this time and suddenly mokyeon is spouting romantic nonsense. I mean mokyeon has been pushing his buttons for a whole season and now nanjo snapped. Mokyeon being alone is LITERALLY the consequence of his actions
i also don’t get how so many readers are surprised about the start of the second season. Both of them were bad communicators throughout this story and the last season ended on such a bitter note…how did you expect the story to continue when there are so many unresolved problems lol
tbh if i was nanjo i wouldn’t have let him off the hook with only one punch love them both but mokyeon was the biggest manipulator and liar in season 1 (which makes him a very interesting character) and it’s very obvious that nanjo is confused and angry. WE can see what’s going on in mokyeons head - nanjo can’t and he‘s getting whiplash OBVIOSLY
it’s great that mokyeon has realised his feelings and may go through major character changes but nanjo has to distance himself and also figure his feelings out…y’all are so quick to judge i really don’t know what you expected from two individuals who cannot communicate lol
While I understand Takahiko quite a bit and I really like a good self-hating arc AND I want him and Yoshida to be endgame, I really really hope that Yoshida moves on for some time Maybe meet new people, maybe a new love interest just SOMEONE, so Takahiko can finally pull himself together and their relationship doesn’t depend on Yoshida like it always does. Yoshida is always the one running after Takahiko and apologizing for everything, now it’s Takahiko‘s turn to suffer lol I really wanna see that
WAIT i see u i agree so much….. Im so tired of yoshida always being the one to feel bad because takahiko made him feel that way. Its easy to get swayed because Yoshida is kind as hell. Meanwhile, Takahiko realises that what he does is wrong but continues anyway. I guess its his way of punishing himself for being so greedy but he doesnt realize that hes also hurting people around him ohhh im so ill
I really do like the uncle but why tf would he tell Suhan to go back to his family i hate the sentiment that „family is family“ because suhan has been abused by them his whole life. Now he has finally found freedom and healthy dynamics and his parent figure is sending him back to his toxic family. It’s not Suhan‘s responsibility to keep the family peace, it’s really unfair to expect this from him.
The uncle is the mom's sibling right? I might be reading too much into the story but maybe since the uncle left the family and spent so much time away, his own relationship with his parents deteriorated to the point of no return and he doesn't want Suhan to have any regrets at such a young age....
Honestly, since the uncle is still promising to be a safe space for Suhan I think this development is okay? Not great but not the worst either since his family, at least his mom seems like she wants to start trying.
Idk. Just my thoughts.
I wish Taeui would get really angry just once. I know that Jaeui had his (understandable) reasons, but your own twin brother cutting you off, keeping such a big secret from you and disappearing from your life is just too much And don’t get me started on Taeui‘s uncle, he doesn’t seem to respect anything Taeui says and he uses him for his own benefits. AND Jaeui and their uncle kept the weapon-building a secret from Taeui. I think I don’t have to mention Ilay and why Taeui should be FURIOUS with him, lol.
I know, Taeui’s forgiveness and incapability of holding onto grudges are crucial to his character, and I really do love him as he is, but arrgghhh I just want him to blow up in everyone‘s faces. It would be so satisfying
I wish mcs would call their love interests „rapists“ more often because most of the time it‘s exactly what they are.
I don’t know why I heard so many good things about this manhwa, lol. While their dynamic is fun at times and has the potential to be really really good, it’s just another story where the „badass“, „cool“ and „independent“ mc gets dragged along with the mls schemes and can’t do anything to break free.
The couple of times the mc punches and fights back were satisfying, but the satisfaction can only last so long when the mc gets assaulted the next chapter, or gets ridiculed, blackmailed and manhandled by the ml right after. There are very good bl stories with this kind of dynamic, where the obsessiveness of the love interest is clear even without (attempted) rape and assault, and there‘s this kind of bickering relationship between both love interests (here it’s always the smart and cunning and clever ml and the humiliated, blushing mc who gets dragged along).
Maybe this will change later in the story, idk, but I also don’t like that the mc doesn’t think of the sexual assault as really „forced“ even though it 100% was.
and before people ask why i‘m reading this and tell me stop if it bothers me so much, y‘all know how important it is to engage critically with what you‘re reading, right? I think the story has potential and I will be happily proven wrong once more chapters are out
Why are so many people frustrated with Tei he‘s in such a strange and new position, Shuraka‘s personality is always changing, and he feels useless because he thinks he can’t have bf of any use to Shuraka (because he keeps shutting him out). I think everybody would be sceptical in his position. He hasn’t seen Shuraka in so many years and Shuraka has obviously been through some stuff and changed a lot, but they are just not communicating well which is expected due to their characters. It would be far more strange if they were already all happy and lovey-dovey.
I think for me it’s much more frustrating that everyone expects Tei to just get used to everything fast and to obey without knowing the details. Anyway, I’m excited for the angst and for the development it will bring!

man, i just want cheol to disappear and go live free and happy somewhere far away from all of them. he deserves so much better
