There's a somewhat recent guideverse that is still ongoing that I cannot for the life of me remember.
From memory, the esper is one so powerful that they can't seem to find a guide that would work for him. THe guide they found is a good match but still struggles to heal the esper completely. The esper kinda keeps him at a distance cause he doesn't want to harm him. There's a scene where the esper is in a hospital after combat and the guide goes to hug him to try and aliviate his pain. The esper is reluctant at first but the guide insists saying that he thinks he can do it.
There's another scene where the esper comes onto the guide for the first time. Pushes him down on a bed. Then realises that he had never acted like that before and is surprised at himself.

I skimmed their twitter and episode 2 should be on ridi. They also said it's a short story (4 chaps I think?) and this is what they said in a tweet:
"Since next year is likely to be busy, I plan to release the final chapter of "Wabi-Sabi." Chapter 3 will mainly focus on Ben's past and the reason he fell for Adam."
