I’ve never read it so I don’t have many details to give, but I believe that mc/ml died in one world, and they meet the alive version of each other in a parallel world and that’s how the story begins. That’s all ik but if someone knows the sauce that would be greatly appreciated

I took a break from this thinking I'll return to catch up for the season 3 finale, only to find out that this was THE finale. And I actually enjoyed the ending!! I wasn't sure how the author was going to pull the escape since they established Bada as an NPC but I think she managed it well.

I appreciate that we returned a bit to the cliche horror tropes at the end there as, like the author pointed out, they took a backseat in most of season 3.

With that being said, I like the implication that, for Bada who is an NPC in the game world, HIS world was able to move on—finally—from the events in the game. Almost like he specifically was stuck in a never ending time loop and could finally escape. Doha (and the others) "forgetting" everything that occured makes sense to me because if it were irl people "isekaied" into the game, then their escape would just be them finally able to disconnect from the game and return to the real world. I don't know if the author will expand on that, but it's a fun thread of thought nonetheless.

I also like the implication that Doha's personality (and the others) might've been influenced by the Player Character they were attached too, so even though in game Doha has no recollection of Doha outside of being Seongchan's cousin he fished out of the river (also great continuity, seeing as Bada followed after them on a motorcycle so him crashing solo makes sense!), Doha is still intrigued by this man acting out of the norm (and so boldly!). Twice, now, his dream man has fallen into his lap quite conveniently, how lucky!

And while I don't expect the author to delve too much into it, I would love to see their take on a "reveal" that irl!Doha returned to the real world without his man and ... I don't know, went mad trying to return and eventually ... Succeeding? ;)

He's not that bad but maybe annoying.

He only causes misunderstanding but nothing more than that, he's genuinely the type of person in love with someone engaged to him (ml)

In the end he learned to let go of ml but before letting go, he really does fight for his love, he's not a bad person, he just childish

Seeing Ideun’s response (addressing Ji‑an as “Are you okay?”) and later answering Ji‑an’s call blows Haneul’s mind
. He realizes Ideun came to fetch Ji‑an, not him – shattering Haneul’s hopes.

Chapter 36 (Desperate Texts to Ji‑an): The next scene shows Haneul frantically texting Ji‑an on New Year’s Eve: “Seo Ji‑an. We need to talk…” and then “Are you busy?...Aren’t you sorry? You shouldn’t treat me like….”
. Ji‑an, reading these messages, observes that “Ideun had no intention of marrying Haneul – not him, not Ideun’s grandmother….”
. Haneul’s texts reveal his anger and hurt but Ji‑an delays confronting him.

Chapter 37 (Musical Invitation): Haneul is said to have asked Ji‑an to go see a musical with him. Ideun hears Ji‑an decline, saying flatly, “I’m not going to a musical with Noh Haneul… If I were to go, it’d be with my baby”
. This illustrates Haneul’s continued attempts to engage the others and Ideun’s cold rebuff through Ji‑an.

Chapter 39 (Confronting Ji‑an): Haneul corners Ji‑an to confront him about living with Ideun. He bursts out: “I like him, Ji‑an. I love him. I want to marry him. My parents like him and his grandmother adores me. You know about the marriage talks…”
. Haneul, voice trembling, admits he’s agreed to marry Ideun and is bewildered why Ji‑an is moving in instead. Later he begs Ji‑an with tears in his eyes: “I really can’t do this without him… He says I’m too young. It’s just an eight‑year difference… Please, talk to him for me”

, indicating Haneul’s playful affection for Ji‑an. This underscores Haneul’s gentle side and lingering presence in Ji‑an’s mind.

Chapter 56 (Later Mentions): In a final reference, Ji‑an recalls who reacted to seeing him with Ideun: “Haneul, who had wept and wailed,” along with others like friends and Ideun’s grandmother
. This implies that, at least in memory, Haneul was intensely upset by the turn of events. No new scenes feature Haneul beyond this recollection.
