This is better than pearl boy lol yuta my queen
i dislike how impulsive he is at making decisions, some of them being completely illogical or redundant especially his way of taking revenge lol what he did to save jooha was nice and all but what he did with the twin was really disgusting, i really expected him to be different from the rest of the characters :'|
I thought this was gonna be a healing journey for Ian this is so cliche lol author really used Jo as a plot device to get them together Jo really deserves better not that I didn't see this ending coming lol
Really thought so, too. This kind of story makes sense if it was for healing. Doesn't make sense if mc will just go back to the life or person he was so hellbent getting out.
Tired of mc ending up with toxic male leads. What's the point of having Jo? A temporary escape? Author could've done it without him if the story will just end same as those cliché bl manhwa out there. Still like the story tho but the outcome not really so
Girl I knew the author would make him end up with the mafia zaddy lol it's so cliche Jo was just a plot device lol if it was gonna end like this then why introduce Jo as one of the main characters lol this healing journey was an utter joke lol all that just to go back to the main root of your misery and trauma you can't expect too much from Korean authors lol also Jo mogs them all
All those flashbacks of hurts and misery + zero present time development between TJ and Ian, mostly only smut scenes but I guess them 2 years of Ian’s alone time until TJ got out of prison supposedly magically did all the work LMAOO..
I just don’t understand why this was a love triangle to begin with if this is the path dyk was taking from the beginning. Jo being used as some sort of ladder for a relationship where the two character barely had any present time development?
This is so rushed and unearned lol tj did nothing except have flashbacks of making Ian miserable threaten him and have sex he just went to prison for two years and Ian magically healed from all that years of abuse and trauma and they got back together it was just a repeated cycle of going back to your source of torment and trauma but hey I thought it's NOIR lol
Fandom wars aside, this is just a storytelling disappointment for me All that back and forth just to end up with this as an ending. It’s just iffy from the perspective that Ian couldn’t outrun his past and seemingly brought it everywhere he went. It really just paints victims a bad image of bringing the scars of their past everywhere they go, having to settle with the person that was part of the reason he has the problems that he has. Idk, it’s just disappointing in that regard.
It's disappointing indeed plus it wouldn't be so disappointing if they had any real developments I don't understand why the author bragged about her work being different and complex lol but I guess this is for the better lol I always felt like Jo was just being used as tool to get ian back to his abuser lol he even said he's not going back twice only to end up in square one i guess it's that easy to resolve years of abuse and trauma with a timeskip it just feels lazy
I also believe it was used for that purpose; I don't even find it bad that he ends up with TJ in the end, since it was clear anyway, but rather the way it was written and how everything happened.
Why didn't they just give TJ and Ian more time together so real development could happen? Instead, Jo is used as a Plot piece , there are well-written love triangle stories, but unfortunately, this isn't one of them.
Second couple needs a separate story I get all excited and check the new raws to see more of the second couple only to get disappointed main couple is getting annoying atp author should've given them side stories first and focused on the second couple more I'm tired of them seeing fucking every chapter I want more of the second couple cause I'm invested they're far more interesting than the main couple
Jo should have his own story where he's still not over Ian and then this new guy comes into his life who is very much interested in Jo. A lil sprinkle of misunderstanding miscommunication and regret uh huh walk with me people btw nothing drags on but I do hope there's a right amount of angst regret and chasing and loads of fluff and hot steamy sex to make up for the hurt

I'm only on chapter 37 but my curiosity is killing me somebody please tell me if that guy who's in love with shin younghoe moved on or not or at least how is their relationship now I'll appreciate it if anybody could give me a brief explanation or something
No one really knows because after a certain point the plot entirely focuses on Garam and Heejae (spoiler: when they leave the country together and settle down in America) and we’re never really informed of what’s happening with the other supporting characters back in Korea.
How was their last interaction tho like did he at least show any signs of giving up ?
Lol nope
it's a very open ending for him. The last we see of him is Ch.62. I personally like to think he moved on.
Just read that chapter I don't think that bird will move on anytime soon
