Any story plots where the main girl likes the main guy a lot and for a long time but was repeatedly ignored and rejected? Then once the main girl gives up, main guy realizes that he loved the attention and wants her back?

Yaoi is good too!!!! Thanks!!!

I came upon it a couple years ago but there was only one chapter. It was super interesting but I ended up dropping and forgetting about it. Now that’s it’s been a couple of years, I want to go back and see how it has come along.

Okay now!

This manga is in historical time (Chinese or Korean). I remember it was a isekai. The story starts with the main girl waking up in a throne room as empress of a country. She was also surrounded by beautiful naked men.

It’s been a long time so I don’t remember the story well. If this sounds like anything similar to you please send it my way. Thank you in advance!

It is a Yuri manga. The main girl is at a club with her boyfriend and their friends. He is ignoring her and checking out other girls. She then goes into the bathroom and makes out with the other main girl. They later go to that other girl's place and have amazing sex. The other girl ends up really liking the main girl. However the main girl later goes back to her loser boyfriend.

Ever since Covid 19 has hit the USA in January of 2020, there has been a major pandemic. As a result, there has been a huge increase of crimes against all Asian people regardless if they were Chinese or not.

My question is: do you find these actions are justifiable or understandable in anyway? Whats your opinion or perspective of it all? Anonymous replies are allowed, I will also like anyone who answers this question to include their race or ethnicity.

As an asian person myself, I feel bias. There's never a time or moment that makes it okay for a person to harm another, regardless of the situation. Just because we're Asian, doesn't mean we took part in the making of this virus. We are Americans too, we know just as much as everyone else does and are just as scared. However again, I am Asian so I am bias.

I just wanted to know the thoughts of EVERYONE. Thank you!

    Crepescule March 28, 2020 9:31 am

I'm 100% Chinese, born in China, lived most of my life in China. I've been in the USA for a few years. My community is majority Asian, so I don't feel the racism. And I don't even go outside anyways. However, I can't deny that it was a fellow Chinese person who visited Wuhan that caused COVID19 to erupt in my area.

    Yu Yang March 28, 2020 9:32 am

I'm from New Zealand. And even here there are a lot of attacks, whether verbal or physical, being directed at Asians in general. It's stupid blaming all Chinese people for Covid 19. The actions some people are taking are in no way justifiable. I don't exactly research everything about the virus but to my understanding the virus started in China because of some animal that was eaten(correct me if i'm wrong). I still however, think it is pointless blaming Chinese people.

    Beholdthebutt March 28, 2020 9:42 am

I feel like being racist or doing hate crimes doesn’t justify anyone’s actions at all. Just because there is an outbreak with the virus doesn’t mean people get to act a certain way towards anyone. It just makes me feel like a lot of people in the U.S. are hypocrites. A lot of people want to proclaim equal rights, liberty, freedom, and justice for everyone despite the color of their skin or just ethnic backgrounds but then when there’s a pandemic they want to flip the switch and start pointing fingers and start hating on each other. Why can’t people just focus on one race, the human race. As someone who lives in America, it’s really disappointing to see people discriminating against one another. I personally think that all the Covid-19 did was unmask the fake lies Americans want to tell each other about coexistence with everyone. We’re so divided right now, and that’s not how we should be, we’re supposed to be united.

And I’m not saying all Americans are like that, just some, maybe even the vast majority. But yeah this is my opinion, I just had to share it.

    スージン March 28, 2020 10:06 am

Given the situation we are in and the nature of people, it's understandable why they are behaving in such a way. People get panicky because of the series of "end of the world" events. However, these actions are not justifiable at all. I am 100% asian but I get why foreigners especially the Americans run away when they see Asian people in fear that that Asian is a carrier. However, I believe that caution should not only be applied to Asians. Run away from people in general because at this point, no matter what the race, any person could be a carrier.

It's a devastating misfortune that the virus originated from China, but blaming them will not resolve the problem. "It couldve been stopped if the government didnt keep it as a secret", well yeah thats a fact. Everything that will be made know will generally be stopped from happening. But IT'S ALREADY HAPPENING!! So just start from there and draw some solutions. Ugh in other words, stop yapping your mouth.

I also dislike the white mentality "the virus is not gonna stop me from going out and make the most out of my break" (there's a video interview to back this up). It's stupid to think that they blame China for spreading the virus, but they themselves are POSSIBLY exponentially spreading the virus and even go out to clubs and beaches to party. Idiots

    MarketPlace March 28, 2020 10:15 am

    African American,

Most people in tendency of fear, act out of place, so I see why there been a huge increase of crimes against asians of all kind, but it's definitely not justified. Just because your scared doesn't mean jack shit , it's a virus, attacking someone isn't gonna stop it or help it disappear, and the person making a effort to go outside just to attack someone is the most retarded thing I heard of.

I'm italian and I don't care one bit about who's the first patient. The result would've been the same or worse even if the virus would have started spreading in another country.
I think that some people just search for every possible reason to point fingers at others.

White American here. Yes, I do see some increased racism against Asians and it's fucked up. I hope it stops. Thankfully, there hasn't been a lot of it, at least where I'm from (I know that any racism is still bad though).

This a quite a idiotic statement. All you have to do is search up the keywords "asian" and "coronavirus" and tens if not hundreds of article and new reports will show up talking about this topic. There are also constant uploads of videos of Asian Americans getting harrassed in their every day life since the coronavirus outbreak on social media.

Is there a manga or anime that you read or watched that changed your perspective or took a big part in making you the person you are today?

Mine would have to be, **Midnight Secretary** which I read at the age of 15.

Here are some of my favourite lines from the Manga.

-"The fate of every taboo is to be broken. The taboos that we plant to prevent problems is sometimes the sole cost of them. Breaking a taboo is changing the world."

-"I am me. No matter what I say or do, I'm still me. The things I feel, the things I do, being a vampire, being a man, being betrayed by my mother...when those things come together they make "ME". But I'm none of those thing taken separately. Netheir you or me are "just vampire". Being a vampire is just a part of what we are. There's no need to feel bound or chain by it."

-"I obtain everything that I want. I live the way that I want to live....As a member of the vampire clan should."

Kyouhei is such a strong and prideful character, throughout the series he learns though his source of happiness and joy sometimes are weak and dishonorable even to HIM, running away from them would make him a even weaker person. He protects and stands for the things he loves even when the world is against him, and through it all he comes out the strongest and most prideful vampire even when no one agreed with him.

Kyouhei's character gave me the strength to repel, to go against the norms and hold my head high even when the world was against me. To live the way I want to live!

What left the biggest mark on me was probably Violet Evergarden. Her as a character was very raw and secretly vulnerable. They don’t talk about her as being aesthetically a “beauty” but compare her to that of a “doll”. While I am no good in the looks department, her and her exploration of what ambiguous matters like love were, really shaped me. More than it was one character, one scene, or one episode, it was like the whole series took on different meaning of love and the intense feelings and interpretations it can be given. I think her direct and altruistic personality encouraged me to be more open and authentic all while caring/empathetic. This is also the series that made me cry the most over possibly any manga/anime. The entire piece was well animated and done and everything from the op to the extra OVA never failed to make me cry.
    Another classic is Naruto.
Yes, cheesy. One on my first shounen so it has that as part of nostalgia too. Loads of sappy stuff in Naruto but it did serve as a good lesson of passion and will. Somewhere along the way they even touched on self-acceptance like with the ‘waterfall of truth’ (or something i forgot the exact name) Naruto tells about how everyone has a reason to fight as well as focusing on who it is we fight for and choose to protect in the name of our own love. In the waterfall arc, Naruto spoke on how the uglier side of him was the parts that he casted out and failed to give love to or acknowledge. I think that while you obviously will have your fair share of shortcomings, you need to confront them as a person to start your journey of contentment. Sometimes, you can’t ever change what you’ve done before or the things you still do and that’s ok.
Lastly, Haikyuu!! was a fun ride. I loved how all the characters had very individualistic traits in someway. They didn’t need to be super special or anything either. Forgetting that it may be because of the fact that it’s in a more realistic setting, all of the characters felt genuine and cared for by the author. None of them necessarily had “evil” tendencies and were fleshed out as if they could just pop out of the series and function perfectly as a living human. They didn’t need a stupid childhood backstory of abuse/neglect to half-assedly justify their wrong doings or mistakes. All of the characters were just different people who liked vball a lot. The entire cast of characters had an empowering desire of self-betterment and each one strived for doing everything that they could do. They also emphasized the importance of trust and commitment to each other and the matches. Losing is natural and they handled it differently but all worked harder because of the strong bond that held them and their love for volleyball together.
Many more series did impact me and many more will do so in the future. It’s never really one title that best describes how I felt like wanting to change as a person, but these are the most immediate/unforgettable ones that made me fall in live with manga and anime all over again.
I didn’t include quotes because there’s a ton of iconic ones in each anime/manga but I tend to forget because I don’t have great memory. One quote I do remember (bc I took a screenshot lol) is from a yaoi manwha
called “wolf in the house” and it’s:
“You don’t place your ego above the other person’s happiness when you’re in love”
Anyway sorry for the long rant.
