I dislike how readers refer to characters by their positions related to sex like they're some nameless autobots and I see this literally only in the discourse of queer fiction. just heteros talking "this bottom" " that top" "this uke" that's how you can tell queerlit, and by extension queerness, is only a fetish to them. then they go on to express the disdain they feel as if discomforted by the complicated but very genuine human experiences unfolding within the story. the sheer arrogance and homophobia of it all like do you even realise what you're saying.
if you can't see how it's degrading to refer to someone as their position relative to sex then I wonder if there's privilege there. if someone did that to me, they'd never see me again. but I do see the case for bad memory. if you can't recall a character's name when it comes up multiple times in any given chapter, in that case it would be a literacy issue and I think the only thing that helps w that is to continue reading w concious effort.
why are you assuming people would treat real person the same as fictional character? its not like i go around the streets calling every gay people i meet with their sex position, of course id put more efforts when interacting with real people. maybe expand ur horizon bc some authors do this to their own characters, especially in the danmei novel sphere
as an author myself, there's a lot of effort that goes into our stories. we travel, meet new people, listen to their stories, tell them ours, we see each other through those shared experiences, and through those connections we form obnoxious bonds. the characters are fictional but they represent the experiences of real people. maybe expand your horizon bc why would you refuse to use their names?
I didn't get far in this manhwa but I remember everyone has their fated pairs name appear on their body. most people don't meet their pair. mc doesn't know a name appeared on his body in a place his eyes can't see and ml doesn't tell him instead guilts him into helping him find another person w the same name and birthday in order to stick around him. I also think they're in college.
in celebration of my rare day of nothingness, gimme a read you're borderline obsessed with. one that was so hard to put down that you were literally counting every tick of the clock til you could pick it back up again! something you can read over n over n never get tired of.
Ever since I first read this beautiful masterpiece, I knew in my heart that the very purpose of my life going forward will be to glaze it every chance I could get and recommend it to every person I come across. I've re-read it 10 times already, and each time instead of getting bored of it, I just feel my deep love and understanding of this peak fiction growing even larger, my brain chemistry has forever been positively altered by it, I doubt anything will ever hold a candle to this masterfully crafted piece of literature in my mind and my heart. I shudder to think of the day it ends, since I'll have to say goodbye to it, and I know deep down that after it ends, my life will never be as joyful as it is now that it's still on-going, the world will stop looking as bright as it does now, and my heart will be broken forever, never to mend from the heartbreak it will have to endure. Please read it, it will definitely change your life for the better, your skin will be the healthiest it's ever been, your sleep will be restful and your heart will be full and at peace.

currently if I’m being fully honest? these two are so sweet and cute, genuinely I cried because “finally” unlike the more popular typical stories we don’t get the stupid same old cliche bullshit tropes and drama and constant sex shoved in our faces
no, these two are genuinely so sweet and tender with one another it almost feels like I’m invading on a private moment with them, y’know?

I dunno when this site was created but I been using it since I was but wee. like 2012 or 13 before pornhwa ever slithered its slimey way in—sooo through all the dead scares and closecalls. with such a library, I'm sure it wasn't (and isn't) easy to have kept the place up and running like this so I specially appreciate that glitches even now still get tweaked around here. like recent history(!). just noticed that one. y'all work hard where it can't be easily seen but the people who see it, will see it. so even after its gone I'll still remember mangago w a sadness twinged fuzz. like that old bookshop I always fell asleep in as a kid w the old lesbian owners who somehow always rec the perfect books at the perfect times.
I'm almost done w concubine walkthrough and it helped me remember I'd read something similar. so a character from a book or maybe a webtoon ends up in our world where she attends high school and falls in love w a boy. in the end, they had to say good bye and she goes back. that's it. that's all I remember but I do know it utterly wrecked me in a simiIar way to concubine walkthrough. I have stickers for anyone who knows what manhwa I'm talking about!
