Suddenly the curse that has been going strong and getting even more powerful since it was first cast upon the royals is suddenly getting weaker on just the prince specifically, such a blatant load of BS by the author to concoct a reason for Ellen to be with the prince. She is a literal goddess and you're telling me that the human prince is the best option for her love interest, There are multitudes of spirits that would make better partners for her or you know since she is pretty much immortal maybe this can wait for a long while.... until someone better comes along (╬￣皿￣)凸
The Prince being the ML is important for human/spirit reconciliation, especially given the nature of his soul. The author isn't "forcing" that. It's tapping into a timeless reality in the human narrative.

this brings nothing to the story except for complete annoyance to the reader at delaying the current story ark. I literally couldn't give a damn about the princess or the empire, he should just cut them both off and that old f*ck can realise what a powerful enemy he's made.
I so agree with you. I hope everyone involved in this plot will regret what they did. Davey should remind them what he is capable of and what will happen if they play such games with him. I also hope he won't get together with the princess, it's not her fault for beeing too sheltered and having those instincts. Hope the author won't go down this part. I don't want a harem in this story or a romance trope now. I always liked it that Davey was so firm and not giving in to any girls.
Unless someone can spoil it for me that he completely rejects the princess and tells the old man to go stuff himself, then I'm done with the story,
Forcing relationships for no reason and then trying to have other characters justify it by saying that "oh this isn't earth so your moral values don't matter" is the worst kind of writing imaginable.
The princess brings nothing to the story whatsoever when we already have a compelling story arc going on with the hero and the time travel.
It's no wonder the other hunters hate training if this is the type of training they get, doing all that stuff while massively sleep deprived would count as a form of torture. I honestly hope it blows up in the trainers face when they are too exhausted and it ends up putting them in to a dangerous situation!
Also thinking that she can ask for food after doing all that stuff to to our MC, I'd tell her to go eat dirt!
Being sleep deprived & only eating the ration you brought is common in a dungeon. It's better to know whether someone can handle it or not in a controlled environment with the instructor present.
If they can't handle it, then it's better for them to not enter a dungeon at all.

She's still got her goal of becoming the family head and until that happens she cant risk her plans on a romance with him. Even if her uncle has been thrown out if something happens to their grandfather again he could come weaselling himself back in, the family still has enemies.
Plus the biggest thing we've seen regarding the empress is even with her own powerful house at her back and being empress, she's constantly been undermined by outside forces so why would Tia become empress and give up so much power that she could have as matriarch.
Tia is greedy and perez is crazy which is a great combination. Tia will get both positions dont worry
Would love if he just turns around and goes nah, and if they keep pushing it he just straight up quits. He doesn't need to be an adventurer, it's just something he decided to randomly because it allows some freedom. But if they keep pushing it then he can just quit and what are they gonna do!

I 'm not really a fan of how the author portrayed the MC as slightly uncaring about everyone else trying to help her not feel nervous, but as soon as Bell steps on the scene everything is suddenly fine.
I hope they don't decided to just abandon the other characters development in favor of ramming home that Bell is the ML

the illustrator tweaked the scene in chapter 44 and removed Maybellerophon scene , but now they get people to adapting the novel script so the adaptation is more consistent now.
Maybelle actually was terrified when she saw Rykell's power (extreme magic demonstration b4 summoning spring season), and drowned in inferiority complex until Phon hold her hand and told her to believe in her lineage.
Phon also approached differently by spelling out Maybelle's main weakness (controlling mana) and assure her that she will make it through even if it is not perfect. yah, he stayed and helped her training afterall...
tbh, Phon is the most underdeveloped character , Abel and Aslan grow up in beautiful way... but Phon....

If I've learnt anything from other manga, never trust the personal maid or the secretary because they are the ones that can go anywhere and never be questioned so her maid and Ethan are incredibly sus to me.
