Mikodami's Manga

This story is more or less very improbable and the outcome predictable. Most characters are behaving like being drunk and the whole atmosphere, including the drama, is like a crazy sitcom on tv. So if you like those, you might like it more than I did. But if you are looking for a profound story with a deeper meaning, you better look somewhere else.

Soooo sweet. Fujiyama and Kanba as a sweet and awkward couple during their second and third years of junior high. Extremely laid back and a slice of life as they come with some beautiful artwork.

It's a good work with a good story. Not very sophisticated but still interesting. There is some drama, but it's all resolved pretty quickly and once resolved, the "antagonists" disappear forever. The romance is there but it's not explored very deeply. All in all there's probably a bit too much stuff for this length of the manhua, so everything appears slightly shallow.

Good. Not a masterwork but good. Despite some major drama has generally a positive outlook on life. The end fizzles a bit out but matches the general pace of the story well.

Not very bad, but very, very strange. Slightly aggravating how they read things on their own without really confirming with the other party and thus miss each other's real feelings. Also contains a lot of what I consider unnecessary filler material. I skipped a lot of the superfluous business and similar talk just to be able to read to completion.

This story isn't even that interesting in the first place, the guy is obnoxious and it's also very confusing why this whole drama occurs. But after the ML literally rapes the FL in chapter 41, there can be no other way than to drop this shit. For me, to have the ML to rape the FL and let him marry her in the end is the lowest of the low and amounts to nothing less than glorification of violence against women. Despicable!

Good manga woth an interesting take on the genderbender theme. Despite it being a five-panel format, the story flows properly and is not a pain. The artwork is plaon and simple but acceptable.

I'm not very fond of tsundere characters and the FL is hardcore tsundere. Coupled with a for panel format this means that there's not a lot of story but a lot of rather annoying silliness over and over again. Not my cup of tea.

Great work. Really slow developing story with a strong, poetical message and multi layered deep meaning. On the one hand you have the 17 years old Akira who feels what she thinks is love for her boss, but what in fact is admiration of a father figure she misses. On the other hand there is the 45 years old family restaurant manager who is fascinated by the youthful energy he sees in Akira. Their developing friendship helps them overcome their doubts and insecurities in life and gain new courage for the future.
I love stories like this and if Mayuzuki sensei has more works like this one, she might very well become one of my favorite authors.
The artwork is not ver good but has a specific, very fitting style.
