Everyone just kept on gashlighting Tommy, invalidating her feelings as if she wasn't allowed to be angry. She was told that she was also at fault for being lied to, cheated on and in general emotionally abused when her reactions were fairly normal after such a betrayal. Everyone fucking sucks. Including the green haired trash that also gashlighted her and made her feel as if she's at fault for everything just because she cursed out the girl that literally slept with her boyfriend (knowing that he was taken) AND demeaned her while her boyfriend sat there and watched. And no, being mentally ill is NOT an excuse. I am mentally ill, but I don't use it as a justification to my abuse towards others. The author has issues. Every single relationship in this webtoon feels extremely shallow. No one has the emotional intelligence to built genuine connections with other people. Sure, the story is realistic if all the people around you are toxic waste. Waste of my time.

I remember reading the novel for the drama, hoping it'd end with tragedy. I loved how it was written but the duke was so hateful to me i wanted him to burn lol Now that i read the webtoon, I'm still unable to enjoy the good art and like that piece of trash.It just reminded me of the anger i felt. The drama is good, but unbelievably frustrating. The ending also SUCKS for people that wanted the duke subhuman to die. He's an absolute psychopath, he has no empathy and sees her like an object from start to finish. Yet she ends up with him. I would give this novel a better rating, had he died in the war but nooo, the clichè my-psychopath-loves-me delusional ending is what we get.

It was always suspicious how easy it was for him to kill and Bada didn't pay much attention to it because he was desensitized to death after dying and seeing others get murdered so many times. Doha's most likely a 'player' that knew everything from the start. He may even know what the 'escape' is and may be keeping it from Bada so that he can have him. Another possibility is that he may not even be a player but the 'creator' of the game, hence his interest on Bada's knowledge about horror games. Although that's way less likely, considering he was going around playing the game himself as fast as possible when he took out that villager and Bada saw him from the window. He only started stalling after he found out that Bada remembers each session and is a player as well.

The uke needs therapy so that he can learn how to love himself instead of depending on the love of others. If he was a healthy person, he would recognize that there's no excuse about what that narcissistic piece of trash did to him.
I'm pretty sure he learned that and was able to be comfortable with himself at the end of the story tho.
People who call her "weak" have failed to take into consideration the fact that women had limited power back then. If anything, she's an extremely strong person after the horrors she went through. If you want to hate someone, hate the duke. His love is not love but obsession, from the start he wanted to own her like she is a piece of furniture. They're not equals in their relationship. He was nothing but a master manipulator, would you be able to trust a person like him? Trust is everything in a relationship. The whole foundation of theirs is nothing but a cunning lie he made up. He manipulated her and with no fucking remorse. In every damn chapter her opinion is disregarded if it doesn't fit his. Damn i detest him and to be honest I'd rather she left him forever. But obviously this isn't going to happen.
The fact that he doesn't think of her as capable to express ideas through her own comprehension of the situation and he believes that she just parrots the words of the duke gets on my nerves. He automatically deems her incapable and weak just because she's a woman. Oh, I can't wait for the day she'll leave that worthless king. He's not fit to be an emperor, he only acts based on his impulses and emotions.
I'm sorry but she didn't choose to be born in Monarchy, she wasn't the one who specifically destroyed his life. She just literally fucking existed. Privileged or not. It's like hating someone for being born. She suffered enough. I believe she deserves to get her divorce and leave. People need to see it from her perspective as well instead of going "fuck the rich". Not to mention that she is a woman in a society that women have little to no power, so she barely had any influence. The guy is just searching for a punching bag to release all his hatred. Also all his assumptions about her being "too privileged" to go through ptsd pissed me off, even though i do understand that lack of empathy is expected after what he went through.
Yeah... I was just trying to get some sympathy for the guy too. I felt like the mc with her lack of awareness of politics kept eating up all the crap that came out of his mouth (even if it is understandable) and missing or ignoring clues that he's actually trying to protect her (she acts like she doesn't know or care about the fact that she might get executed the minute she gets her divorce...). To me she's not bad, either. She's just painfully unaware of vital stuff that could either save or end her own life... However, she DID make me gladly surprised that she's becoming smarter since she realized her childhood's friend ulterior motives for coming to see her (even if it seems she failed to consider the possibility that, the fact alone that he even was *able* to see her, means someone from the ML's side *allowed* it, which means it's a trap for her: gather evidence that she's not "behaving", enough to get her executed)
I see your points but as i said, she is a realistically portrayed character considering her position. As you said, she's a fast learner despite her learned ignorance as a noblewoman all these years. I can't really hate her for being naive in certain instances because that's natural. As for the ml, while i can excuse his plans for rebellion,i consider the rest his attitude inexcusable. The least he could do was ignore her, not torment her and while her request to "leave" him is dangerous, it was shown to us that she has the full knowledge of it, she knows that she may die but it's still her choice as an adult. She doesn't "act" like she doesn't know or care that she may get executed, she's fully aware of it and she's okay with it, as she stated in the chapters. She also very obviously suffers from ptsd and her life in the manor, surrounded by the political enemies of her late father is torture in itself. I agree with the fact that her meeting with the guy she knew is most likely a trap but the thing is, even if she found a completely safe sanctuary, ml still wouldn't let her go because he's not aware of his own feelings. His internal conflict makes him brutally abusive towards her, and frankly speaking, she doesn't deserve it.
right? this is what i'm talking about. because after all, her parents are now ded, her husband tricked & deceived her. if that wasn't enough for someone like her to have her soul broken i mean we can see her state now. it's not even her fault at all, what could have she done? in that society. & in the 1st place, she gave up studying. i can go on some more & rant ab how fl is being mistreated or even tormented here, cause of her being part of the royalty & her father's murder, & yeah for being a privilege woman.
