I'm here to warn some of you people, so you don't make the mistake of continuing this story. I checked the Korean comments of the novel readers. Read the rest at your own risk:

The emperor apparently "changes" and starts "pampering" him after finding him and apparently this is supposed to be "redemption". Dam accepts him, the emperor steps back from the throne and marries Dam.
Yes, you read this bullshit right.

Remember the first chapter in which he rapes Dam telling him he "loves" him? Apparently the rape is the very start of his "change". All the shit he literally did are just thrown to the side because he starts being "nice" and "protective" and magically Dam falls in love with him and forgets revenge. LMAO. Apparently it's redemption to still get to selfishly covet Dam and "kindness" to protect him from his political opponents, when he could achieve all that by leaving him THE FUCK ALONE. But as expected of a selfish sociopath who only cares for himself.

Disappointing story. I could give it zero stars if i could.

It's just the usual shitty toxic trope that encourages forgiveness towards abusers and giving in to their will because they apparently magically change. Nevermind that they killed your only family, raped you until you bled, beat you near to death and treated you as a subhuman. It's alright guys! Let's hold hands and all is forgiven!

Trash. Pure trash. Worthless even. Like, what is the point of making the rape realistic? The author might as well eroticise it like the bullshit ending they created.

I don't trust high ratings (at ALL) but I trust low ratings (because if the high rating are trash, imagine the low ones...)

Those who don't have a "gendered role", if you get what i mean. Those who feel like real people and not one dimensional protagonists from my grandma's harlequin erotic novel collection.

People are complaining about the poly even though it's clear from the very first chapters that this is how it's going to be Also, i don't get the complaints and annoyance about Shen being with the warden. They are a PRE established relationship, Jin Yi only just appeared. Obviously they need time to start getting attracted to each other? And it's quite obvious that the first to yield with Jin Yi is Shen, not the Warden. It wouldn't do the characters any favours considering their personalities and roles in the story, to just fuck from the very first chapters. If you want porn, no plot, there are plenty out there. I find it absurd to complain over the story having a plot with characters that won't fuck from the moment they meet. If you want one dimensional characters, plain bl plots are everywhere. The Warden is supposed to be a control freak, with hatred towards the prisoners and Shen a distrustful prisoner, under the wing of said control freak by doing sexual favors. How do you expect both of these characters to just jump Jin Yi from the first month he gets there? Especially since the warden detests Jin Yi's status as a prisoner and Shen is watched like sheep, while also being wary over the other prisoners around him? Not to mention that Jin Yi doesn't have any inclination to fuck, he just wants to get revenge. It's not even slowburn since these are the very first chapters, Jin Yi didn't even get close to his goal. Also, just because we start the story with Jin Yi, it doesn't mean that he's the only protagonist.

I swear some of you don't even know how poly works. A lot of you probably read scenarios where two or more people engage in sexual relations only with one, and just all live together and accept sharing one person. And then genuinely think that's how poly works(especially when they turn their nose at 'two' bottoms lol)

Shen is the cutest and i love how caring and protective(based on the extras) Jin Yi is towards him. People say it's going to be two bottoms and one top, however Shen and Jin are very possibly switches. One of the extras showed Shen topping Jin Yi as well.

The foreshadowing is pretty intense. This feels like it'll turn into a story of another rich, privileged bastard that will obsess over what "he can't have". He's currently behaving softly, however he's still taking advantage of her indecisiveness and the fact that she is literally traumatised and more vulnerable, which makes her susceptible to leaning on the very first person that offers her just a bit of kindness. He is taking advantage of someone in a vulnerable position, even if he claims that he doesn't want to hurt her. His desire and good will isn't selflessness towards a victim, he does what he does because he is attracted and hopes to gain something from it (also the title tells a story of its own).

The amount of rage this story made me feel, cannot be described in words. This is only the second time i've hated an ml this much.

The only happy ending this horror story could have, is the death of the sociopathic, genuinely evil, disgusting crown prince/emperor(ml) or whatever the fuck this "thing" is. This trash being, should have being aborted before birth. Like, imagine being such an apathetic, sadistic human trash that you torture a poor servant that did NOTHING to you, despite knowing that he has a family to feed and is just a fucking child? And the moment he survives your unfair treatment and barely becomes an adult, you decide to brutally rape them and then beat them over the fact that you're too narcissistic to admit you're gay. In fact you're the only one who's gay, the eunuch didn't ask nor want to be touched by your filthy hands(and if he ever does, it'll be trauma bonding). I want ten chapters of the emperor/crown prince getting tortured and cut to pieces and it still wouldn't be enough.

pffffff it's hilarious how at the first chapter he says "i love you Dam" while literally raping him Like Goddamn, that's an insult to actual love. Like, if he loves Dam so much, he should commit the ultimate act of love by hanging himself

I find Lim Sung-sik (Elliot) incredibly attractive. I can't explain why. Is it because he's relatable? Because he feels soft and calm?

I find her insufferable as a character, even though i sympathise with the abuse she has endured as a child. I just feel like she wasn't written well and she genuinely pisses me off. I can understand that abuse can make someone either grow up fast or remain a child when it comes to their behaviour, however she was written in a really shallow way... I don't think that the abuse she went through and the trauma was represented well at all. What i'm trying to say is that aside from the countless clichés, her behaviour is incredibly frustrating in a non well written way. I've read stories with frustrating characters before, however they were bearable because their behaviour was properly aligned with the flow of the story. I don't know how else to explain it to make sense. I'm not blaming the character herself, i'm blaming the writing of said character.

The jumpscare from the very first chapter...

I want this sadistic warden who reeks of hypocrisy to find out the real reason why mc is in prison. Mainly because i want to see his little palace crumble over realising that his "consequence" and justice team is just as corrupted and disgusting as the animals he tortures.

Also i adore Shen. This seems like it'll be a polyamory.

The concept that a man needs to be in love or have blood rush to his dick by a woman, in order to just be decent towards her, is plain disgusting. I'm just going to leave this here.

Warframe. This game is free and i tried it before in the past but left it. This year i tried it again and got obsessed with the lore, the fighting mechanics, the music et.c (I hate Ballas with burning passion.)

I adore the slowburn and i can relate to Seo Chiyeong's personality (especially his dark moments of being happy yet jealous of his friends moving on with their lives. He was still mature enough to recognise that every person has their own pace and sometimes we may not get what we want).
Also, i can already smell the yearning coming from Jang Uigun as well (he was already showing signs of being interested without being aware of it from the chapter in which Seo was drinking with another friend).
Jang Uigun is definitely not the best person and he had moments of being inconsiderate towards someone he knew had a crush on him (like confessing his love to his friend right in front of Seo when he could do it at another moment privately. Not to mention that his crush was literally dumb drunk and not in the best condition to deal with it), however he's obviously not obligated to fall for and/or date another person just because they like him.
Also Seo himself chose to be close to them, even if he doesn't get to date the person he loves, because he enjoys their company. I've been in this position, i've willingly chosen to remain friends with my crush because for me platonic relationships are just as important and i genuinely did not want to lose this person from my life. Different people can process things differently. And that's okay.

Sazz asked a question

Hello, could someone recommend me a manhwa in which a really stoic, i turn my nose at you and romance type of person falls in love first and falls really hard? I want it to preferably be slow burn, but if it works without it being one, no problem. It can be yaoi, straight or yuri. I don't really care as long as the depiction is good.

Thank you in advance!

So... Their dialogues weren't the result of a bad translation after all... That's what they were actually saying
i genuinely don't know what to say about this manhwa.

I kind of liked the ending and i like that Khalid didn't die. Why? Because he was placed in his rightful place, a dog who is worth less and will always be bellow Knox. And Knox never truly forgives him, just thinks of him as a useful slave, which is just perfect because he IS useful. A useful little scapegoat, a card Knox will be able to burn if needed as he seizes more and more power. And oh, don't make me start on the emperor lmao Trash just got placed in the bin. I just freaking LOVE that none of his rapist fucks got forgiven like some other bl. Knox survived his suicide attempt and finally had all his hard work pay off. He rightfully deserves all the power he got. Being faithful to the trash crown prince gave him nothing but sorrow, treason was the answer all along. So yeah, GET WRECKED BITCHES.
