Maybe it's a sin, maybe it's not. From my religion's standards, it's definitely a sin but I believe a thought is harmless, really. So long as you're not acting on your thoughts, then it's fine, isn't it? I mean, you're not harming anyone with your thoughts, lol. Like, weigh out your options (at least this is how I think about it) having 'lusty' thoughts or engaging in immoral sexual acts? Which one's the greater sin in your opinion... in the end, rather than religion, it's all about perspective.

I'm a catholic and well having lust is a psychological factor that is normal to humans, you can't possibly stop it unless you're asexual. So does that mean asexuals are the only people who don't sin? oh, hell nah! so my answer is, God might consider that a sin but then God also made us this way, so it's just impossible. we don't even know if those words actually came out of his mouth so yahh.... kinda stupid （￣へ￣）

Everyone has different thoughts about religion and their views on sex. But then again, before a lot of things were sinful when it involved women whether it was menstruation, masturbation, or sex. I don't believe that engaging in sexual actions (or lustful thinking) is bad. I think it's just human. We can't be perfect, and nowadays that's not really considered sinful. So don't stress out too much and do things that make you happy (▰˘◡˘▰) even if it's just reading yaoi.

I, too, was taught the same thing. But then, here I am, reading and reading again. Theese books are too beautiful that I can't help myself. >_<
