Ch. 57 Very rocky road this one, but if you think about it, the emperor felt like the past life memories weren't his and he didn't fully remember it all, despite accepting it was him and taking the blame for his past life actions, he still needed the head eunuch to tell him very basic things about the past so he was truly a different person. I can blame most of the things he did on this being a time piece and on him being an emperor - hence too spoiled to take a no -, but also knowing a limit on where it'd be too far. I love the little kid, so I would've enjoyed a time skip, a second season focused on him and similar stuff, they grew to be a very cute couple by the end of it so I would also like this see their dynamic after a few years. I looove the little servant girl, the characters are very enjoyable over all

Ch. 17 why can't we have a LOVING obsessed freak? Like, be a red flag of a human, not of a lover! I was so excited thinking oh he is not like the previous emperor, he knows how to woo a man, he will properly win his heart slowly and undo their karma but no, BAM, rape drug/aphrodisiac.
Ch. 21 he got some memories back, cries because he lost the architect in his past life, and decide "well, yeah, the solution is to repeat the same mistakes again" bitch WHAT?
Ch. 23 YES PUT SOME SENSE INTO THE HEAD OF THIS LUNATIC, WOO HIM, WIN HIM, LOVE HIM!!!
Ch. 30 the baby is way too cute, I WILL protect him. And since the concubine is raising him, doesn't that mean his mom ain't around? Can't we have him be raised by the architect instead?
Ch. 33 you see, the emperor's words and his willingness to crush his own foot would be much more moving if he hadn't just been a cunt towards his baby

Kidnapping, blackmailing, CONSTANT gang rape, pathetic MC, very compliant, only fights back against the dark skinned character, treats them all very kindly after being abused as if nothing happened just hours prior, like, how are you accepting his cup of coffee and even complaining as a friend would when he just raoed you until you passed out???
There's also a clear attempt to stablish romance (I'm still in ch. 32), which is very embarrassing, as there's nothing on the MC side that could make him fall for them, not even establishing Stockholm syndrome or mind break (which I could buy into given they have a mind manipulator), just treating it as if it's the normal course of progression, it's soooo bad.
BUT there's a interesting plot behind it all, not necessarily GOOD, but interesting, nonetheless, got me curious. So I keep reading, despite skimming past all the sex scenes, since they are very off putting and not sexy at all (I've read mind break Orc rape sexier than this)
No, really, I'm so dissatisfied with the sex because it is CONSTANT and it is sooo BAD, and I started reading this because I was horny and guudeverse have sex pretty early on but here? It is not at all pleasing, and I can't even blame the art (it's good, got everything I like).
it just truly feels like finding a person who was reported missing through facial recognition on a gang rape video of a porn website. No idea how the author managed to do this, as not even stories like Killing Stalking and painter of the night (good and bad representation of mind break after kidnapping-rape) have smut as uncomfortable as this one.
