So I still have quite a bit to read. But I just wanted to say that this is probably one of the only non-toxic representation of masculinity. I adore it. It's similar to "The ultimate shut-in". These male mcs take care of their family, their community & isn't worried about being replaced. We have multiple characters being so relevant to the story. This is how you write an apocalyptic story
So basically the demon king of slaughter saga. Boring as fuck. Caron doesn't no anything. He swings his Sword so causally in a boss fight and monologues in most of the panels. The elf saves him too many times and he doesn't even use his demonic Sword against demons !
It's the art too. I think people may not read this manga because of the AI generated images. The dialogues are also generic. Makes me think if this whole thing is AI garbage
So you know how there is that manga named "Swordmaster's youngest son" with the Runcandels & Zippels etc. That manga convinces me as a reader how grim these houses & their practices are.
On the other hand, all the other characters in this manga keep saying "how crazy the Restons are". I'm like, "dude! What part of you is crazy? U're bland as fuck". ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
The foreshadowing of romance with Misha is what is spoiling this manga!
1. Firstly, if we had to be technical about things, Erwin the elf was his 1st teammate. The author has always shown Jandel displaying immense affection, care, concern & protectiveness towards his teammates. For some reason it simply doesn't extent to Erwin. Like fanservice for fans who ship Jandel with Misha #－.－)
2. Secondly, everything about Erwin goes through Misha as if Misha is his wife & Jandel needs permission. #－.－) The irritating part is when someone was your former teammate & their family died & they are alone, & u were entrusted with their welfare, u bloody fucking bring her to the hosue so she is not alone! Help her with the fucking funeral! Do not fucking abandon your friend to please fucking Misha!. Don't fucking make it so obvious that Misha is the final romantic interest so much so that Jandel cant even show basic decency towards a friend. This manga isn't about romance as the central point! Such fucking cheap romance not even a good one!
Everytime I read the comment & I see readers shipping Misha & Jandel or Jandel with any of the other females in this story, I think about how he is an evil spirit too & they would turn on him faster than they can blink. There can be no world where Jandel gets his happy ending as his true self with his full identity known in the story of this manga
I really don't know about this manga coz I just started & already we have an adult mc pretending she can't pronounce words after she is on her 4th life (⊙…⊙ ). Its simply impossible for someone with that sort of mental age unless she has been born with physical deformity in her tongue or mouth, which she clearly hasnt been. There is no reason why she can't speak normally.
Imagine your rapist falling in love with you & then tries to emotionally blackmail you into a relationship with him after doing all that! Yikes, no!
Finally crossed the 200 chapter barrier. Love this story intensely. But like Jin's new hairstyle, I wish the artist would have it in a ponytail so it doesn't resemble his mother too much. I thinkit will look much better. Its funny though, Jin looked like an old man when he was a teenager and now that he is an adult and a flag bearer, he had de-aged due to the change of art-style.
I just got to chapter 152 & for real, is Jin actually going to kill the cute kitty. I simply cannot bear it. At no point in this manga, have I had any issue but this is my limit.
Ever since the desert training started, the art seems to have changed for the better. Let's hope they remain consistent. Its the 1st time ik convinced Jin Runcandel is not 40 plus year old man
So the author was too cowardly to actually let a girl with a Dick be a proper alpha & basically turned this into a fetish for clit-dick & the the entire sexual dynamic is a copy-paste of hetero sex :/
Like this story would make more sense if the alpha was male. Considering the gender reality of our world, this manga was pure crapology is what!

In my defence I only came to read this manga because I misread the title and thought I saw "sausage castle".
Having said that, there is simply no coming back from killing a child. Like I do not have a human child but I see no world where I would ever forgive & go back in love with the man who killed my child, father or not!. That kind of development doesn't happen. I will not simply end him. I will live just to torture tf put of him for the rest of his days!
Everything is perfect about this manga except the way the mc is drawn. At 14 years old he looks like 30 year old man in some of the panels. Its probably the unnecessary justin beiber bangs that do him no justice & also his sallow cheeks, like he isn't fed.
The one thing is appreciate abput this manga is how th author doesn't go on a power fantasy trip for males like solo-levelling.
The male mc is actually compassionate & doesn't try to seem mysterious & deprive everyone of their power just to appear the big boss of earth. He literally tries his best to take care of everyone he can. He has also grown as a person & as a leader. He knows how to utilise the human resources around him without appearing to dominate everyone in every panel. This is a wholesome read
The author basically dismisses her grief as nothing. As if only a male hero narrative can lead to a character's sadness & growth. This mmaga author seems to have no understanding of human emotions. She doesn't have to become a hero but it would have been to acknowledge the grief of her father.
The mc is the oldest child & she finally had the opportunity to help her father but for some reason, the author doesn't make the mc want to protect or help her father. Her father's suffering only makes her hate her grandmother. Like any misogynistic manga author, the solution is to make hateful female mc who relations with other females are antagonistic & the male characters indulgent towards her. Even her celestial acts like a love sick food (╬￣皿￣)凸
