this author is the S tier expert at sex scenes but this action scene was like ♂ “die” ♂
100%
I kept thinking the whole time the author seems to have trouble creating anticipation, and tension for violent scenes.
The attempted murder explosion thing got swept under the rug so fast I forgot it even happened. And this, a younger brother attempting to murder his older brother, a VERY dramatic situation, has no insight into the character’s psychologies so Heonjae is explosing his true feelings. But WE DON’T EVEN REALLY CARE bc we never got to have his context…
There’s show don’t tell, which works great for sex scenes, but…
… but he’s not as horrible as wookyung!
i feel insane reading everyone sympathizing with minho and giving him some baby treatment saying he is completely innnocent - he is a bad guy! with bad habits! that’s what makes it interesting to read! i definitely think sadistic beauty is more complex in its characterization (it is significantly longer…) BUT this is an interesting (?) gooner character study of a horrible person being put in a horrible horrible situation.
he didn’t deserve it, nobody does, but why can’t like 50% of the readers acknowledge the greyness of his morality?
all in all i really like the characters this author creates. wookyung in this, though, is the most boring lonely suffering from success rich handsome rapist CEO archetype. he’s way more interesting as a morally reprehensible switch. minho is so interesting and deeply relatable as a self flagellating hater who just externalizes all his insecurities.
does anyone else feel the same as me ?? i feel like there’s a strange mass hysteria where nobody has reading comprehension but i am Literally on Mangago.com so wtf am i asking for.
and fee free to disagree with me thanks for reading xoxo

I think the female characters are really likable but the male characters in this lack some depth (in my opinion). I really like the ML but he is a bit boring to me, I think his “tragic” backstory being so minimal exacerbated that. Him and Oze just don’t feel realistic to me while the two female characters have their shoujo quirks but feel like real people somewhat.
BUT this is kind of awesome… because I feel usually this is the treatment female characters get in a lot of shonen (zero character depth) so in a way it is refreshing ….?
Curious if anyone feels similarly?
