solo leveling was never original. as someone who has been reading action/shounen manhwas since before 2018. the dungeon, system concept was an extremely popular trope for korean webnovels. it's def not the best, and people calming it is are dead wrong, but like someone else said it's like marvel(and everyone loves to clown it for good reason). it's just cool enough and super easy to get into, which is prob why it's so popular, just some filler

Yes and no? Solo Leveling is very much similar to Marvel movies in my opinion. It's easy to understand, full of aura farming and surface level satisfaction. It's crack. I like Marvel movies. i read solo leveling since the manhwa was still ongoing, since i had to read it on jaiminis box website. it was one of my first action fantasy manhwa. i finished the novel when i was in middle school, im graduating college this year. fight me.
