Gay or Nay?
Does reading Yaoi make you gay? A lot of people have that assumption. I mean people give me the –_– face if they see me reading BL. It's getting nerve wrecking. I support LGBT doesn't mean I practise well if that's my sexual orientation I wouldn't mind though cus for now I'm ¿.
I'm gay, and I read Yaoi not only because I enjoy it, but also because it's one of the few genres that showcase gay romance and sex. Representation is important.
But to answer your question - no. Reading yaoi as a guy does not mean you are gay. In fact, it makes me really happy to hear that you read about and appreciate gay romance even though it...... 1 reply
