5.4", 48kg
My height is 163(5.4"?)and I am 48kg (I think around 103 pounds?) and I want to lose weight. ( - 5kg) I know that am on the lighter side of what a 163cm person should be. But for some reason, I look larger than my actual weight. My thighs are very thick and my waist is just wide. But I do a lot of exercise and I play in team sports. I'm being made fun of for having thick legs, and so I want to at least slim them down if I don't lose weight. What are the most effective ways to lose weight fast? My goals are the lose 2kg a month at minimum. I'm a beginner at dieting and weight loss, are these realistic expectations?
uhhh im 5'4 and 58kg.... but in no way do i consider myself fat or ugly, in fact i quite like myself. (objectively ofc, i'm not that egotistical) . i guess it just depends on muscle mass or fat. if you have more fat you may have less weight but more bulk (big squishy parts). if you have muscle, its denser and so it carries more weight for its volum...... 1 reply
I don't think you need to lose weight but if you do want to slim a certain part of your body try to do exercises for that specific area. for example, if you want to slim your legs try leg exercises, or if you want to slim your waist try waist slimming exercises. hopefully this made sense and don't listen to others your beautiful either way, good lu...... reply
muscles weigh more than fat does - if you really want lose weight then stop exercising you'll lose muscle mass probably in your thighs as well and your weight will drop. Obviously you shouldn't actually do this but it just doesn't sound like you really have much fat to lose so this would be the only way... honestly the next time someone mentions yo...... 2 reply
I'm 5"4' and 49kg [108lbs], I think you're fine....I look pretty skinny except for my legs, I practically have no ass though. I think you'll regret losing weight later of you do it now so it's better to not try, your weight sounds normal to me, you're fine. reply
I wouldn’t think that is completely realistic. Those might be your natural proportions. It’s sounds like you already take care of your body well, so I wouldn’t worry about it. reply
Seems like you're being bullied. That sucks, I've been there. But losing weight is not really the solution in your case then, because it's not about your weight or the size of your thighs...
Is there a way to avoid the person who is doing this to you or are they someone you have to be around, like a classmate, teammate, colleague? If they are, try...... reply
With your current height and weight DO NOT DIET. Whoever is making fun of you is either jealous or stupid because for your height you're actually almost under weight. (Look up stats for BMI) Also as many people have said your legs are probably muscle from the activities you do. The next time someone says something rude just tell them you're in bett...... reply
I am 162 cm, 55 kg and i think you're totally good. I mean with that height you don't need to loose weight, just do some exercises for thighs, flat belly . I also want to lose weight but to min 50kg. Just my opinion. You are healthy. Tell those people to go to doctors themselves, they are not okay. 2 reply
I don’t think it’s fat, i think from the way you describe yourself you probably have more muscle making you look thicker which isn’t a bad thing. First flex your muscle carefully to not get a cramp and see if it’s really fat or more muscle that is actually there. reply
