How to be motivated
I am 173cm and 80kgs. I have gained 15kgs in 2 years due to overeating bcuz of depression. I was never slim to begin with but now I am just fat and unhealthy. I have been trying to cut down on junk food but it is not working well. Everytime I get stressed I turn to junk food. I try exercising one day but dont get motivated enough the next day. My stamina is shit now when it was great earlier. How to get motivated enough??I really don't want to live like anymore.
My motivation is I pick one of the yaoi character and I said I like you. I wanna fuck you. And to be able to fuck you. I must be attractive enough to be with you. I mean all this yaoi character has abs. Yaknow. 5 reply
One thing that got me really motivated to lose weight was realizing that there is no way to make energy out of nothing. Fat is stored energy and if your body is not getting enough energy through food it will go to your fat for energy.
How I ended up losing weight was calorie counting it made sense to count them over any other diet I knew about at t...... 2 reply
Dont stress too much about that junk food- sure you want to cut back on that but itll just make you feel worse and less motivated if you spend too much time dwelling on mistakes like that. I used to have bad anxiety and insomnia but since I've started running, I f...... reply
Honestly, I struggle with the same thing as you, but I try my best. One day I exercise, and the next I don’t, or one day I eat healthy and the next I don’t. In that case I understand that it can be hard to leave old habits but you can fight urges back. Remember you control your body. For example let’s say you would love a bag of chips, but yo...... reply
start with a small amount of exercise, something you enjoy if possible. maybe just 15 minutes, make it a habit by doing it every day and then you can slowly build it up. reply
There are a number of things to try doing!
When it comes to overeating, I'd suggest, at least, to research and find some foods that are healthier. So, even while bingeing them, it won't contribute to as much gain.
It's really difficult to work out a diet, particularly if you're living with people who don't have great diets, either. But it's worth i...... reply
I have been... No, I still am in your place. But what I have learned is this: You can't let the depression run your life. You are in charge of what you think, how you feel and what you do. The depression is not. So, you have to be the one to change how you view food and how motivated you are. First, start with food. Find something else, besides foo...... reply
