For context - your master is a fair and just ruler, beloved by the people but with shaky ties to the other nobles.

I would seek the help of trusted friends who know that I didn't poison the noble, so they would stage the accident for me and fool everyone, I take the dude and seek the help of a renowned and trusted poisoner to detect the poison and ask them for help with finding the cure and creating the antidote.
