un-romanticizing mental illness.
What's something that people judge mentally ill people for all the time despite "understanding mental illness and health"?
I feel like people judged way too harshly when people relapse or fall back into bad coping skills, especially if they been dealing with them for a long time.
As someone with bipolar disorder, almost everyone asks me 'Why? What happened?' when I enter a depressive phase. 'You were feeling better 2 weeks ago.' Well yes, Susan, no shit, I was manic.
Just because I don't have manic phases were I try to fight a bear, people don't seam to understand or care that I am not in a "normal" state and that nothing...... reply
