Why do Americans bread/fry literally EVERYTHING?

I have no idea. We Americans (a lot of us anyway) just love oily and unhealthy shit ig. But these are foods you would get once in your life at a weird restaurant or a fair—most of us just stick to frying/breading meat lmao. I’ve never had or seen any of these myself 1 reply
Some of these, like fried shrimp, ( which originated in Korea.) didn't start in the USA, we just brought other places food's here. There's a reason for it being named the "UNITED" states of America. Probably because it gives flavor and cruch lol.fried food isn't as common as what tv/social media makes it seem. From my experience as a Midwest girlie If people are frying things at home usually it's either fish or chicken or potatos (tots/fries/hashbrowns), or they get it at restaurants.
