Hard pill to swallow?

Going jewelry or clothing shopping and seeing outrageous prices (from trustworthy and small brands) and realizing that it can’t be cheap because you can’t get cheap things without either using exploitation or cheap materials— so I just suck it up and start saving or look for second hand.
