Insomnia
I suffer from Insomnia for 9 yrs (pretty bad hahaha) i did take medicine in past, and try several methods, but at some point nothing makes me to fall asleep, so i wonder if anyone here have the same problem as me and somehow can help me with their experience, and to be honest, I know im helpless... ( ̄∇ ̄")

Lavender oil
Chamomile/lavender tea
Medication
Just laying in the dark
A comfortable stress free environment
Getting a blue light filter
Stop drinking alcohol
Stop drinking coffee
Stop drinking energy drinks

i get you i get you. i've had it for a similar amount of time as well. i think if you already arent, take melatonin, if you already are take more within a safe ammount of time. i also recommend no lights on and tech away although nobody does that.
i know how tough it can be so i know some of the above might not do much but it could be a start (?)....... reply
I feel you, i've had insomnia for 4 years now and i've started using melatonin since a year ago, many of my friends said that shit doesnt work for them but ngl it helps a bit! I usually take it like an hour before I go to bed with water, make sure I’m actively trying to relax and then get settled!! reply

i've been around the block with similar issues before, and even sleep meds really don't help at all. few years ago on tumblr there was a fantastic breathing exercise developed by a guy named Dr. Andrew Weil , and i took the time to find the link to his site, and the specific exercise i mentioned.
